Over time, it's possible the acronym gets nominalized, but then it will be a proper noun and the first letter would be capitalized. Thanks for clearing that up - that is the spelling that I prefer and I think it is the one that I have predominantly used in the past.
Time for me to call it a night. Have a great night or day depending on where you are in the world FAWTLies!
A Fawtly is one member of Fawtl, or the adjective to describe something fawtly.

Is Jeremy not posting in here anymore? What hell?
Sorry Leafy I'm trying to keep up, but the past few weeks have been hellishly busy, with movers coming in to give quotes, work losing 2 employees and me having to cover, plus spending more time with the hubby because of my increased time at work has taken away time with him. So I ma still posting just not doing an adequate job. I'm also glad to hear you came through your surgery well and wish you a speedy recovery. To Solnes and Moorluck, these disputes happen it's all part of a marriage and I love you both and wish you and the kids well. Anyway i will try and post more even though things are likely to get more crazy and hectic on my end rather than less.

I'm starting to wonder if I should leave Paizo. You're all great people, some of you among my best friends. Still, I'm getting really sick of the drama and the trolls. I can't visit the site as much as I used to, and whenever I do, I'm invariably put in a bad mood from the get-go. From there, I always end up making some asinine comment that I immediately regret, and feel s$&!ty about for the rest of the day. Is it even worth it anymore?

I posted a link to his official site on the RP thread. Be a bit cautious when it comes to all the fan sites.

If it's turning into a job I'd say try to avoid the more troll prone threads. I don't find you posting abrasive, and even if you say something asinine at least you have the decency to feel bad about it.
I hope you stick around.

Solnes and Moorluck, I hope you guys are ok. I don’t like this, it’s like our mum and dad are fighting ;-)
I think I totally get both your points of view ... and that’s one of the problems with me. Just about anyone who knows me will describe me as someone who’s calm and rational, and doesn’t generally get into fights or arguments, who gets over being pissed off very quickly with no hard feelings, someone who can be turned to for advice or to resolve other people’s disagreements ... but somehow, when it comes to those that I am closest to and love the most, ie my partner (or partners over the years) I am not like that at all. I tend to take things the wrong way, assume the worst, hold grudges, choose to misunderstand, bring up past wrongs, pick fights, etc. It doesn’t happen too often thankfully, but when it does it’s not good.
I also have a tendency to storm out and go AWOL, sometimes for a few hours, sometimes all night ... it doesn’t solve anything, and can make things worse and make the fight drag on, but sometimes I need it to clear my head, relieve my frustration and anger ... and not take out those emotions physically on undeserving walls, trees or garbage bins (I would never get physically aggressive with or around members of my family, but busting my fist or splitting my head on hard inanimate objects has been known to happen in the past, a situation that I now go to great lengths to avoid since I don’t heal as well as I did when I was younger).
Anyway ... my point is that sometimes we act out against the people we love the most, but it doesn’t mean we love them any less ... sometimes I think that is just part of two strong willed and passionate people living together. It’s better than bottling it all up.

Way I see it, sometimes a guy needs to fade out a bit. IF he feels called back, he'll come. If not, he won't. Happened to me. I came back. Really it ain't like leaving the church or nothin, am I right?
Wouldn't be your first time, either.
One thing for sure, you got enough stripes here to make all the asinine comments you want with no reason for grief. And we all dig you being you. So that's my 2 cents.

Regarding Ron Pale
Someone wrote:

There was discussion on this topic up-thread. I think the consensus was that he didn’t actually say that.

Kruelaid wrote:My wristwatch stinks. How to wash it?What material is the band of the watch, and what level of waterproofing does the watch have?
All stainless steel. 100m Timex. I'm thinking of dropping it in bleach.
It smells like my grandmother's cordless phone. Which was never washed. For like a decade. And she drank lots of coffee and wore dentures.

Weird. I keep reading it. Who would have thought people would make stuff like this up about a politician? Never happens, right?

*blink*
Morning folks
I'm starting to wonder if I should leave Paizo. You're all great people, some of you among my best friends. Still, I'm getting really sick of the drama and the trolls. I can't visit the site as much as I used to, and whenever I do, I'm invariably put in a bad mood from the get-go. From there, I always end up making some asinine comment that I immediately regret, and feel s#$~ty about for the rest of the day. Is it even worth it anymore?
There is nothing asinine about posting honest questions or how you feel about a subject. The asinine posters are the ones who have hardened their view into unshakable dogma, where they will not consider or respect other's viewpoints. Asking questions and honest and open debates are how we learn things. Thanks to talking to (some)people here I have changed my views on several issues.
If you need to bail for a while, it's all good, but you will be missed. And who would link cool music and info on Rollins? I will always be in your debt for turning me on to Amanda Fncking Palmer.
Not that I don't understand the frustration. Last fall I was so bitter and disgusted with the poisonous troll swamp the OTD had become (and the trollish posting style I was developing in reaction) that I closed up everything but the Gaming subforums. Heck, I almost walked away from Pathfinder altogether and rejoined EQ. After a while, I realized that by leaving I was leaving friends, and I was only denying myself. So, now I don't (usually) talk politics here. I botched a Will Save on the Paul thread, just because I would really love if someone could be elected that actually stuck to their convictions and voted accordingly, even if it made them unpopular and their initiatives never got voted in.
You're family man, and no matter what you decide just know that we love and respect you. I'm sure the others will back me up on this.

I think it's because it's hard to assail him on actual issues. But I'm veering into politics again, so I'm gonna stop now.

Tonight is the season finale for Supernatural. I love that show. And their going to bring more Lovecraftian elements into the story. Literally! They're going to make references to H.P. Lovecraft......
