Also, I am throwing John a surprise birthday party on Sunday. I know nothing about throwing surprise parties. This s*@# is stressful.

This month is awesome, but I will also be glad when it's over.

I was going to text you, but I've been busy myself. My wife is going away for two weeks this Friday, are you tied up for the rest of the month or can you get away?

This weekend and next weekend are shot. If she is out of town the weekend of May 31, we should hang :)

Hello there nice person from the Internet, the page you're looking for is not here anymore. But you can still check out one of these awesome pictures.

Me too
Try this link. Fixed the type of jus to just (I assume that was what Freehold was going for).

I think a certain amount of these people just might be trolls...

That said, I laughed until I almost puked. My favorite has to be the one where someone posted "Boys with eyes<3333." No Falmer allowed. A close second has to be the "morning sunset."

Good morning FaWtL. I hope everyone has a great day. No word yet from job interview on Monday. Had another phone interview yesterday. Today's agenda: more job applying and going to a Pops concert at my wife's school tonight.

So yeah, Kingmaker night last night was... interesting.

Spoiler:
The party's learned that a cult of Irshya, the Harpy Goddess of Envy, has pretty much taken over Fort Drelev, and is behind the kidnappings of young women on the full moon. They're being hauled out into the Slough somewhere, where "the lady of the swamp" somehow literally cuts love out of their brains with necromantic magic, then sends them back to Drelev as spiteful, cruel troops to guard Drelev's keep. This sounds suspiciously familiar to how a certain faerie superweapon was made.

Also they plan on allowing the lizardfolk warlord Armagk to raze the civilized colonies in the Stolen Lands to the ground, have all their loyal allies transmuted into harpies to claim the ruins afterward (this is the second Irshyan cult they've run into using this tactic - the first was kidnapping and transmuting newborns and toddlers), and the whole place afterward will be "cleansed with acid and lightning". The PCs aren't 100% sure what that last bit means, though they have suspicions - particularly Cuorvhain the Conqueror, a blue wyrm living in the mountains to the west who in theory rules nearly all the Stolen Lands, and Ilthuliak, a black dragon who once ruled this swamp whom they've heard many, many things about thus far.

Good morning FAWTLY FOLK! Happy Friday! Also, tired Friday. The boy kept us awake for over an hour last night. First it was a claim of bees in his room. Eventually it descended to I need water/a Kleenex/ to go potty. All his crying and screaming nearly woke his sister up several times. We had to make our displeasure known to him.

This sound eerily familiar. Except for the part about 3 days.

Arrrggh! Damnit! I was hoping you'd say "no". I was gonna respond with "Then you really can't make an informed judgement, can you Rudolpho."

Thanks for taking all the joy out of my day.

Then we should just move forward with the destruction of the carbon-unit infestation.

On a general note, I hope all of you are weathering the ups and downs of this roller coaster we call life. As you experience the clatter and jerking motion of a car slowly going back uphill or pausing just for a moment remember that a rush of fun is waiting just after that next hill. And maybe some vomit. Or some urine. Just hope that it's not coming from the person seated in front of you. That can be bad. :)

I hear that Facebook is offering free accounts and that it's a great way to stay connected to friends. ;)

In a reverse of everyone else's situation of late, I have a job offer that I'm not sure I can afford to take. The school I student taught at has an opening for a math teacher. My mentor (the department lead) e-mailed me to ask me to consider long-term substitute teaching until I finish my classes in October (at which point I could be picked up as a certified teacher). Problem is that homework has been hellish, keeping me tremendously busy. I'm not sure I could keep up with the homework AND adequately teach a class at the same time.

On the one hand, income. On the other hand, less free time than I'd have if I waited to apply for the same position after finishing school.

Hmm. Resulting in a poor job teaching and negatively impacting finishing your certification are two major strikes against it.

Afternoon, all. What did I miss?

Next week will be... Interesting... I will be on evening shift and I will be the most experienced worker on dispatch. The supervisor and the most competent worker will be on morning shift, unlike in the previous weeks, when the most competent worker was on the same shift as me and now will probably always in the morning. How fun. Maybe at least I will be allowed to smack others when they will be slacking.

I have some good news on the Dad front. We were afraid that Dad would have go to back into surgery tomorrow, but it appears that he won't have to. They are upgrading him to a clear liquid diet, and we are hoping he can start getting some strength back soon. He's still in IMCU, but we are now more hopeful.

Take care!

In similar news, my grandfather (Mom's side) has been in the hospital since last week, extremely weak and he was coughing up blood when he went in. They're now saying he has a lung blockage, lymph inflammation, and some other things; he's heading for a pulmonoscopy shortly. Mom says there's a pretty good chance it's cancer.

Not so good to hear, Orthos. I'm sorry that's going on.

For those of you running Kingmaker, may I humbly suggest this as a supplement? It's already got a 5-star review.

Thus endeth shameless self-promotion...

Worth it for the art alone =) I'll have more in-depth commentary on the actual crunch after I get a chance to read it more.
