It was either that or:

Hey, look everybody. It's Starvin Marvin.

All right folks. Hate to post and run, but other stuff calls. I think some of it has tentacles....

We're casual. It's jeans day every day. But that might be a little too casual...

You should see what I wear on Fridays!

Sovereign Court

I had a boss wear a big red hawaiian shirt, and the seam from his armpit to about 3 inches above the bottom of the shirt was ripped wide open. >.< Dude, there's a limit to casual. Really!

NUUUUUUUOOOOOoooooooooooooooooh!

Well, I guess it was a hit. All 5 pounds of pork is gone and they're clamoring for more. :)

Someone brought some EXCELLENT tikka masala too. They bought it from a local Indian restaurant. i need to find out where they got that, it was EPIC.

Ugh so I have to go buy a new rpg bookcase. Currently the bookcase I own is 4and a half feet long by 4 feet high. Just had to reorganize the shelf and it is full with a little bit of slack in the middle (Pathfinder) shelf, which I still have to put Way of the Wicked 1-3 in and Rappan Athuk once it arrives. I don't really have the cash to spare for the new shelf. *sigh*

And no I am not sending handouts of my library :P

Been there done that, have the divorce papers to prove it.

Today is another chapter in the ways I continually prove myself a textbook case of decent/high int, low wis:

>Take sub assignment for drama teacher

Who said sending anything to us? Just give us your address and leave for a day or two. the overcrowding problem will fix itself.

Hello Every Fawtler!

I probably already sniped a few posts from the sidelines since coming back from my wedding, but wanted to tell everyone I am pretty well settled back in, and my mind is shifting back somewhat to all things Paizo.

Sharoth and gang, thanks for welcoming me back... And thanks especially to particular folk who while remaining nameless, know I have been thrilled to gape stupidly at their newsfeed on Facebook. Fawtlers seem to say brilliant things, and the hop-palloi then fight to respond.

CHA checks all the way, Baby!!!

Hm. I will have to find the time to make a well crafted post on this with illustrative links.

The Exchange

I find myself, self editing a whole lot. I think it is why my post count is so much smaller.

The Exchange

Is that a bad thing?

Shadow Lodge

Yes. Post count is king.

Yeah, probably not the best choice of clothing. Especially if that was all you were wearing. ;)

I am a man who walks alone
And when I'm walking a dark road
At night or strolling through the park

When the light begins to change
I sometimes feel a little strange
A little anxious when it's dark.

Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have constant fear that something's always near
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a phobia that someone's always there

Have you run your fingers down the wall
And have you felt your neck skin crawl
When you're searching for the light ?

Sometimes when you're scared to take a look
At the corner of the room
You've sensed that something's watching you.

Have you ever been alone at night
Thought you heard footsteps behind
And turned around and no-one's there ?

And as you quicken up your pace
You find it hard to look again
Because you're sure there's someone there.

Watching horror films the night before
Debating witches and folklore
The unknown troubles on your mind

Maybe your mind is playing tricks
You sense, and suddenly eyes fix
On dancing shadows from behind.

Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have constant fear that something's always near
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a phobia that someone's always there.

When I'm walking a dark road
I am a man who walks alone.

Which brings to mind: One Who Walked Alone.

The Exchange

Which was awesom'y filmed as: The Whole Wide World.

The Exchange

Just watched whole wide world a few weeks ago. Very good movie.

The Exchange

I don't think I have ever heard Fear of the Dark before. However much I like some Maiden I can't say as to the fact that I have heard nearly any or all of their works.

The Exchange

It really is. You should read the book if you get a chance too.

I occasionally ponder the tales Bob Howard could have spun, had he not killed himself. Truly a shame.

The Exchange

Fear of the Dark is possibly my favorite Maiden album. If you v=can really pull, a favorite out of decades of Awesome...

The only thing harder might be picking a favorite Judas Priest album.

The Exchange

Iron Maiden = Somewhere in Time
Judas Priest = probably British Steel but Turbo has always had a warm spot in my heart.

The Exchange

Sadly I also only care for a few select songs from JP as well.

For what it's worth, the few times that you have posted in political threads, I found your posts to be well reasoned and substantive.

Quality over quantity. (and you never seem to drunk post unlike me.)

:)

Turbo was the first JP album I owned, but is actually my 'least' favorite.* Which only means I like it a little bit less than the rest of their work.

*Note that I don't count Jugulator or Demolition as actual Priest Albums. They are beneath my notice.

BT your drunk posts are fun. I also wonder if you take a look at them the next day or so and say to yourself, "why."

I've had a few beers. I'll be happy to link some! ;)

Iron Maiden - Paschendale

This is one of my favorite songs that speaks to the unspeakable waste of war.

Iron Maiden - The Rime of the Ancient Mariner Full Length

Another classic.

Iron Maiden - The Trooper (lyrics)

Crimean war classic.
