I just saw that the final Magus playtest version was posted. Is this something that you would allow? The light armor, free hand fighting flavor seems to lend itself well to a swashbuckling type campaign.
If not, no worries, I've wanted to try out the APG fighter archetypes for a while now.
I'll need time to familiarize myself with the magus before i can approve it, so give me tonight to look it over before i can make that decision.

here is my thoughts on being a foreigner.
1. this curse is no mystery to the neighboring countries, a common saying would be "don't let your daughters wander into Orensden" and the sort. So it wouldn't be a real shock as any travel would have been warned.
2. I would want a good reason for why your deciding to travel into the country. I'll gladly accept the idea, just want a good hook behind it.

reading it over, i have no issue with the magus, they seem strong, but nothing that screams "keep it away! burn it! aaaaaah" and i like the back story!

Here's my thinking as I was working over the character last night.
When she was very young, her parents traveled into the country. Initial thought is that they were merchants. They were warned, you should probably not take your daughter here, but they had guards and buisness had been bad enough that this particular run was vital. Everything went fine, they arrived at their destination (a medium sized city) and started the transaction. They kept their daughter close, and under their eye. However the deal went south, and turned violent. She was able to escape notice initially in the hubub but was taken with the rest of the goods. This started a series of 'owners'. She passed from one hand to another, generally sold up as her looks and talents became known and she was able to fetch a higher price. Her last owner was the worst and after a year she took the first opportunity she had to escape and ran to the capital (or whatever starting point you have) to loose herself. She's managed to make a rough living as a street performer, keeping an eye out for people who might want to do her harm.
If this doesn't work, I can modify it easily. It's just a thought. Either way, I'll be playing a female human bard with the street performer architype. I'll have an avatar and whatnot shortly.

as for background info? seems like you got the jist of this campaign setting because what you describe fits perfectly! Especially being a performer when the game opens up at a festival.

Sorry, I was talking about my previous spoiler asking about other options since I intend for her to start out on the poor side due to her background.
Went a little lighter on the armor than "normal" for the swashbuckling part, so staying in light armor.
Any other suggestions?
Equipment is done and stats finished. I've also added a bit to the backstory to explain how he acquired his arcane knowledge.
A silver broach in the shape of the family seal (a badger's head transposed over a shield) with two small rubies inset as the eyes. It was his grandfather's and was given to him by his parents when he became an official Guardsman trainee and moved into the barracks. It would be recognized by anyone with a knowledge of Orensden heraldry as the seal of the Rebekson family, who have a long history of serving as officers in the palace guard.
Revengance: light armor is good, especially since a ranger prefers light! Honestly your character looks good

I was actually thinking Calistrian Prostitute. Not because she ever worked in a brothel, but her 'work' did teach her to flatter, please, and listen. And Calistria is her deity. All it would give her is a +1 trait bonus to Sense Motive, and a +1 trait bonus to gathering information with diplomacy. The latter would only apply with people who aren't already attracted to her, as she already has a trait bonus towards diplomacy checks vs those.

Before jumping in, I'd like to request my character have proficiency in heavy picks if that is possible, as to indicate his familiarity with them. One more thing, whats your say on mounts or pack animals? Thanks.

I'm not real sure how to jump in, I kinda figured that I would just show up when everyone was getting ready to leave town and if asked would say that I had a dream and my god basically commanded me to join the expedition to the mountains, so I'm going.
What all else do I need to do for Canor? Finish buying supplies and gear? The spells and skills you put Astrix's beside are the ones I know?

Having a bit of an issue coming up with a special request. I suppose I could just ask for a masterwork rapier with my family's crest worked into the basket hilt.
I am also struggling to come up with an additional martial weapon proficiency. As a swashbuckler, I get to add one more, but it's hard to come up with one that fits the style, and preferrably would work with Weapon Finesse. I looked in the core rulebook and could not find a description for falchion. Is it finessable?

as for your special request? hmm something that is fun for your character, what i'll do is give you a heirloom weapon if you want, and perhaps just maybe you'll uncover its specialness over time ;)
The sword cane is exotic, but if you don't mind, neither do I. I would like to add in the false scabbard equipment modification as well.
An heirloom weapon sounds great! I'll add my equipment on tonight. I'm being slammed at work and have had to make three characters this week, so I'mm struggling to get everyone finished. I should be ready to go and posted on the game thread by tomorrow.

Hey, Leshok! Where ya been? I've been over here all day working away on Mircea. =P
Okay, I seem to be ready. I'll go over to the game thread and throw my monkeywrench self into the works. Let me know if I missed something.
I took Heirloom Weapon for the sword cane. Turns out it is a martial weapon, so that works out well. You'll note the price for it in my gear is +25gp. I added in the fals bottomed scabbard and hollow pommel. Mircea is unaware of both features. They are for you, use them however you see fit. I still have quite a bit of left over money. I went through the Adventurer's Armoury, saw the monkey and immediately said, YES! Then I saw the pseudodragon and said, HELL, YES! Then I saw it was 200gp and I couldn't lose enough from my already meager gear to come up with the scratch, so now I'm pet-less. (No, a monkey isn't good enough for me now; it would be like begging my parents for a cabbage patch kid all year and opening up my Christmas gift only to discover they gave me the cheap knock off lettuce patch kid.)

I noticed that once I got onto the game thread. Even better that I set my hopes too high.
