Flames of the faithful

Rules Questions

The way its worded is leading to some confusion:

... , "granting that weapon the flaming property (and allowing it to cause an extra 1d6 points of fire damage on a successful hit).

If it just said granting that weapon the flaming property, or the 'and' was omitted it would mean that the weapon has the flaming property dealing 1d6 extra damage. Stating it gets the flaming property 'and' allowing it to cause an extra 1d6 points of fire damage could mean that it gets flaming + 1d6 extra.

Scarab Sages

In this case "and" is being use to introduce a comment on a previous clause, not representing "added to," "then," or "also." Example: I don't pay taxes (and with good reason).

I'm having a bit more confusion about this spell. It goes on to say, "If you are using the judgment class feature and all of your judgments are granting the maximum bonus, your weapon gains the flaming burst property instead."

My question is, what does it mean by all my judgments granting maximum bonus? They seem to be working or not working so I don't understand what it means by granting maximum bonus?

Thanks for the help.

It's an artifact from the beta version of the Inquisitor, which had judgment bonuses scale with time. You just get the flaming burst property if you're using Judgment at all.
