I'm looking for 3 possibly 4 players for my Wilderlands/DCC campaign.

25 point buy advanced to 6th level, standard PC gold and core or APG class acceptable..we already have a Ranger/ scout, a druid/wizard and possibly a cleric in the party...so what we need is front line muscle and a skill monkey to be honest.

Would a Cavalier work here? How much is overland, and how much is dungeon? If accepted and I make a character should I spend things on ride or not? Would a standard sword and board fighter be better...ex-mercernary?

hmm well if scanford goes cavalier i could jump in with a bard. I'll check out the apg for soem alternatives and get a characvter built up. he'd be a wandering minstrel always ready to for adventure. i'd make sure he has a decent int for extra skills and a good charisma to hel;p social aspects.

edit: sandman bard seems fun. think il make one of those, probably a gnome.

Silver Crusade

Hum, how about a Tiefling or Halfling Rogue, I know tieflings can have the skills. Grew up in one of the cities in Cheliax. Perhaps Senara or Corentyn respectably. Playing kinda of a dashing scoundrel type.

So i'd say either a bard or a Summoner. Making use of the edilon and summoned creatures skills combined with his battlefield control and utility spells and his high int and charisma. More of a utility guy. will stat soem out and tonight.

How does a Barbarian sound? Can have him/her ready in a day or so.

After reading some of the game thread, and seeing as this is a DCC adventure I'm thinking a Polearm Expert fighter might be the best option. If I'm in I'll fire up Hero Lab, and it shouldn't take long to throw something together.

Here is my (mundin's) rogue. basically a 2 weapon fighter with lots of skills and excelelnt at trap spotting. It a Rogue scout

I can quickly level this character!

He is a front liner!

I was thinking along the lines of a Half-orc Barbarian/Druid who was exiled from his clan for plotting with the tribes shaman to overthrow his father the clan chief. Also as planning on taking the Tusked trait from Orcs of Golarion and the Totem warrior from the APG.

Let me know....

I went ahead and leveled this guy he is now 6th level including his history up to that point!

Ooh, Wilderlands - and a long, storied game too!

Tossing hat in for Kegmar, who is a little front-line mixed with a pinch of skill monkey, seasoned with a sprinkle of healing (via potions) by way of Alchemist class.

Hm... Considering Fighter: Weapon Master from APG with Scythe. Going to shape to something like basic "Death is coming to you" or Cavalier of Order of the Dragon/Lion

Scranford I know you are reliable so youre in if you can work up a character..

Kegmar gets in just because I'm interested in the way a dwarf wiill change the party dynamic.

The man with the scythe is an interesting concept...if you can work up a decent charater I'll consider him.

Great thanks. I'll have something up tonight. 16k GP? What pantheon are we using...Wilderlands, Pathfinder, DCC? I think that's all my questions for now.

Thank you :) Even to be considered is quite big thing :) I will get something up in 1h

No love for the Snafu!

As promised: a little bit more than 1hour!!

Shardar Deadstalker, Scythe wielding weapon master

Background:

Shardar was raised by farmers. He basically grew up in the fields and was ever since he was small, worked and lived by the ground. This however changed once, when during the night a weird noise was coming from groundfloor.

His father was first one to go down to see what was going on... but he did not come back. No sound, no noise... something happened so next up was his mother wondering what was going on, but the same repeated. SHardar was afraid now, since he was truly alone in the darkness, inside big house his family owned.

Not able to take it anymore, he run down the stairs. Thanks for his small size still during that time and little bit luck, something passed over his head when he tumbled and something crashed against wall. Running out of door but something before that shining thanks to fullmoon outside, the floor was wet...

Running to the warehouse, he was not sure what to do and where to go, he unconsciously grapped his father scythe, which he had just recently received as a birthday present. Heart beating fast and eyes big, the young boy watches the door of warehouse, which was open just a little bit. Something was moving there and he was unsure what... Too scared and not knowing what to do, he just bursted to the door and hit as strongly as he could, meeting something with the blade... not looking behind, he run again and just drags the scythe with him.

Non-stopping, he arrive to the next village. Cold, scared, tears flowing from his eyes, local people took him inside and sent a party to his house. In the evening they came back and the news were bad ones as they had expected... The ground floor was covered from blood and the corpses were still there. Something also were hit in front of warehouse, but the traces disappeared to the forest, only blood trails following them.

Only a memento of his father, a scythe and nothing from his mother. The boy shed the tears and during the next night, he promised to himself: I curse the forest, I curse the foul beings! YOU SHALL FEAR... Since night is not a time for a beast... Night belongs to death!!!!!! Hand squeezing as hard as possible, turning to white and his pupils showing color of red, the boy made a promise of revenge and one goddess heard his prayer... and gave him the answer

Hm... gave also final touch to character profile, so you can have an idea of character concept realistic. I can also continue the story of "Shardar"... but I can promise that it will be a huge wall of text since can´t express it shorter than that.

I am also thinking to go more RP? but idea of how effective front-line fighter would be needed (and assumed I will be selected). Either way based on heavy-damage/ Enemy abuser / wall of blades (got an idea of feat chain to get this done).

Grand Lodge

Would there be any interest in an Artificer? I'm thinking elven just to go against trope.

Hmm...I'm thinking of a Monk. Been really wanting to try one of the APG alternates. I was thinking of a Monk of the Four Winds. Give me a sec to make him.

Sorry its taken so long to get back to you guys
..I'm not sure half orc characters would work as the party ranger has orc as favoured enemy and a back story that makes her very likely to shoot you on sight.

We're using the Wilderlands pantheon.

Aron I'll take your monk as the third..we may still be looking for a healer I'm not sure.

What's the Winderlands Patheon? Never heard of it.

How about a witch/cleric for your healer?

Drats. Well I'd take the pass for Human Feat, but it's probably just easier to make him human. I'll change him over tonight, and post the changes. I"m thinking an ex mercenary that got tired of the war he was caught in, first hired out to one side then the other, and got tired of having to kill people he'd just fought beside a few months earlier. So he raided the company quartermaster hut for some goodies, and took off to parts unknown. He just arrived here, hoping it's far enough away from his former stomping grounds to evade attention.

Still looking for concepts?

And no Half-Orcs, eh?

I don't know the pantheon you're using well enough to make a Cleric.

Is there a link someplace to setting details?

Basically the wilderlands pantheon is..Every God you can think off and a few more

I hadnt realised that Scran had come up with a half orc but I'll limit it to one for now and hope ajiani can deal with it and it looks like Aude is staying so we dont need a cleric for now

Still needs a bit of work but here's my monk so far.

He looks pretty good..hit points not upped yet..we use 75% of max plus con bonus after first level in this gamer

OOC discussion thread is here

Still waiting for one more player.. Overfiend are you still with us?

Anyone else interested in case he isn't an Arcane caster of any type or a dex based fighting type would be most suitable

yeah I've already replied as William. I'm on the discussing thread but not given a link to the main game if there is a existing thread.
