Once this trip is over, I will try to get the last of the pictures up on FB. If anyone is trying to see them and isn't friended to me, let me know, or send me a friend request (but if you do, also send me a FB message telling me who you are, as I tend not to accept people if I don't recognize their name).
Eep. Will you be devastated to know that I skipped the Uffizi? The school group that I'm with has been moving at such an exhausting breakneck pace, that we've decided to try to see more of the city on our own. We went to the Uffizi last year, so I was okay with not going this year. We went to the Accademia, though, because it's just not Florence without a trip to the David.
We went to Siena yesterday afternoon, and that's just not enough time to see that city. We could have spent days there. And, foolishly following the group, we spent much of that time hearing a lecture on Renaissance frescoes. Interesting enough, certainly, but it means we saw even less of Siena. Oh well.
We might be going to Pisa for a little bit today, but it's not set in stone.

*gigglesnort* Arden Angelic Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacesu!! sparkly innocence
So waitaminute- LPM is Hit Daddy a'la the Kick Ass movie? Because as much as Nicholas Cage is the kiss of death for movies, he was one amazing dad in there. This movie actually made me want a daughter, which is amazing considering my previous take on it.
[EDIT] Arden Apocalypse!! ROTFL!!!!!
The sad part is he's about dead on. Face of an angel, mind of pure eviiiiiiiiiil. I love my little hell's angel. I need to start thinking of places to hide the boys bodies.... and I'm more of Shotgun Daddy than Hit Daddy. :P

Morning, all. What did I miss?
Well, Sara had a wonderful birthday, despite learning about Peter's shoe fetish. Meanwhile, David received his new software in the mail, not realizing it had been tainted with a virus by the hacker known only as CybearPunk. And, across town, Dr. Sloane continued his efforts to clone a....No, wait! That's my soap opera.

+1, bolded.

Most of what's on the list is what was in everyone's original reply or in follow-ups. I admit to embellishing a few (Sebastian, Rone, Kobold Cleaver, Heathy, and Urizen in particular) to fill in the blanks or just out of my own innate weirdness. If you don't like something, and/or want it changed, let me know.
You're my bestest figment. =)

So? I guess I am missing something. Yeah I know Facebook is having and will always have privacy concerns. It may kill the company at some time. However as a way to keep in touch with family and friends you might have lost contact with? Priceless. Just do not put anything up you care too much about or fear people finding out about.

If not Facebook, then your IP address and all your cookies will handle it for you without even providing your location to FB. Same applies here.

This is the forest primeval. The murmuring pines and the hemlocks,
Bearded with moss, and in garments green, indistinct in the twilight,
Stand like Druids of eld, with voices sad and prophetic,
Stand like harpers hoar, with beards that rest on their bosoms.
Loud from its rocky caverns, the deep-voiced neighboring ocean
Speaks, and in accents disconsolate answers the wail of the forest.
This is the forest primeval; but where are the hearts that beneath it
Leaped like the roe, when he hears in the woodland the voice of the huntsman?
---- "Evangeline: A Tale of Acadie," by Henry Wordsworth Longfellow
For our Cajun friends, whose ancestors began their sad voyage today.
