Any thread whose entire purpose is to express great grar is probably better off gone anyway. We have enough grar around here these days already.

Yay normal forms again!

Mhhmmm dice.

Any recommendations on styles or brands fellow FAWTLers?

I like the stuff from crystal caste but some of those can be expensive.

I honestly don't understand what is happening here...and I don't mean that in a fun FAWTL way...

The original title was seriously messing up the appearance of the boards.

Mark Moreland changed the title, but a lot of people were still seeing the problem.

Closing my browser and restarting it seemed to have helped me.

Weird. It never threw me off at any point or messed up my formatting or whatever so it was hard to "see" the trouble as it were.

I was so worried I would be a lonely pirate...that's the worst kind!

That is weird. What browser are you using? Maybe it did some nice autoformatting for you.

I be using Firefox! Yar!

Sad panda. :(

Spoiler:

I'm trying to put together a schedule for next semester since registration starts tomorrow, and found out I can't take Chem 111 because I don't meet the math requirement...but I know the math, I just wasn't able to get out of starting where I did because my old test scores expired....aaagh! Puts me a whole semester behind on yet another subject. :( *sigh* Looks like I'll have to take summer classes to catch up. Which means evenings or weekends since the kidlet will be on summer break. And I'm starting to think of switching majors just to add another wrench in the gears. It's not that I can't do the work or that I don't enjoy the subject. I just think I want to focus on a different aspect of it. Heck, most of the classes that I'm frustrated about being behind in pertain more to my long term goals than my major anyways. Starting to think I'm gonna end up as a professional student. :/

I tend to favor Q-Workshop dice , though you have to be careful as some styles are downright unreadable.

Paizo doesn't seem to have a picture of the new Forest dice yet, but they are beautiful. I have a set of the Steampunk dice and I love them.

Given a lot of the things going on in the economy and the relativley weak return on investment for academic completion to boot spreading things out may not be such a bad move (assuming you have the means to maintain the status quo) That said, I have been where you are and it is lame.

Wow. I had seen some of these once and promptly forgot about them, they look neat. I see what you mean though, I would like to avoid having to pick up my dice and squint to see the numbers. Some of them certainly seem "busy".

OOooo they have pirate dice!

Yeah, and I know that the more basic classes I take at community college the better for my wallet long term, but it's hard not to get impatient. :)

Especially when I have to wait an extra semester to take another class in my best subject. :(

Bleh. It'll all work out. Eventually. And hey, my husband has a job with a college bookstore now so at least I get a discount on textbooks. :)

Some of those dice look awesome. Too bad I'm forbidden from getting any dice that aren't very easily readable after the incident of the black swirly dice with the numbers that blend into the background. Apparently it was too hard to keep track of. Personally I don't think you can accuse anyone who rolls as many ones as I do of cheating, but my group is happier now that I have switched dice. :)

they have some on the Paizo site but more on their own

What the heck is grar anyway?

Ah, who cares. It makes a great (see what I did?) alias anyway.

I recommend Intro to Cultural Anthropology.

I'm leaning that way, but only if it doesn't interfere with the schedule for Anatomy.

I'm real good at breakin' things. If you gots things, I can break 'em. If they're expensive, I can break 'em into little tiny pieces.
