DAMN YOU TO HELL ALLERGIES!!!!!!! Cold fall weather equals dry nose = nose bleeds, stupid allergies acting up = sneezing fits. Allergies + nosebleeds means my desk looks like someone was murdered on it. ALso painful sneezes and watery eyes. And now I get to go to work.

I was hiding.

I know you were referring to something else. I just don't get to use this alias much.

On a completely unrelated note, my power just went down. Then it came up again. You're never going to keep it down.

I'm so sorry! That sounds horrible!

But I can't stop laughing either. I know it's wrong, but I keep picturing anime nosebleeds. And I've been reading webcomics all morning.

SSoo tired....and the coffee doesn't seem to be doing its job....

Is it just me or do some people have custom images? Hows that work? (excluding the obvious Paizo staff people...)

Only Paizo staff (and a few others) have custom images. Other avatar images might be new and little-used though. You can sort the avatars by the number of people using them on your My Account page.

Also, I know how you feel Jeremy! The insides of my nose are scabbed over. =( I'm thankful that I'm not sick anymore tho.

Yeah I figured the avatar situation was like you are saying, I have snagged a few of the low count ones myself for various uses but occasionally I still see some that I am not familiar with...guess I am not as good as memorizing multiple pages of avatar icons as I think I am.

The problem is that this is very real for me right now. :-(

Had a pretty good weekend. It's nice to be gaming again. Right now we are going through the Sunless Citadel with Pathfinder characters. As I said, it's nice to be gaming again, but I am learning that I REALLY hate confusing (and long) dungeon crawls. I'm giving the DM some more time, but I may be taking on the reins of DMing again soon. (And actually looking forward to it...)

'Aight folks. Time for FHDM to take a powder. Here's hoping everyone's day is a happy one.

Sorta it all started back with Treppa and Studpuffin saying handcramps (never did figure out why this started, and I still don't understand it) but it was quickly picked up by Taig, and Aberzombie (who lately likes to say braincramps.... zombies and all) But yes sort of a fad going on right now.

Moorluck started it with handcramps greeting to explain the cramps in his hand due to drawing. :P

I hadn't heard that, so thanks. I generally try and watch what I eat -- mostly to try and figure out if there is any correlation between what I eat and pain. Treppa mentioned strawberries and nuts may make it worse -- but months without those with no improvement and talking to a [newer] doctor seemed to indicate that those (and I had heard corn as well) aren't really shown to make much difference (if any). Certain spicy foods (very spicy) can make a mess of it -- but I like my curry and jalepenos. Oh well.

(Actually, what I found to work is certain "probiotics" -- basically a lot of yogurt. But there's only so much yogurt that I can eat.)

You can get probiotics without the yogurt and you are right that they are very helpful. Not sure where you are geographically but if you want copious recommendations I can give them. I used to work for a store that, among other things, focused on naturopathic/herbal remedies. And not those b!!*$*&! internet things; the old school "learned from old wives in Russia" type stuff that can't be patented so doesn't get its due in the everyday medicine.

I have had a lot of similar issues over the years so I am happy to share my info when I can.

Arrrr.
