Well D. was complaining that his internet was not working.
He would initially not give his name or any information about himself he just wanted his internet working.
Turns out that he has no service with us or for that matter any other ISP.
He tries to get the internet up and instead gets a registration page.
He owns no modem nor any wireless router.
He owns a Linksys (which he pronounced linkskies) wireless card on his laptop from which he has "always had free internet."
For 8 years he has been accessing his neighbors unsecured wifi.
His neighbor has gone into nonpayment and has had his service turned off.
D. still yelled for 15 minutes about how we were blocking his free wifi.
The clincher, this man has set up a personal website on the evils of ISP's and how to get free wifi by purchasing a Linksys wireless card.

Just got back from the lecture on Benito Cereno.

Punk means something different to everyone. For me it's about having a sharp political and social edge, it's about being aware, being progressive and pushing back at people's assumptions--and about having a taste in music that reflects that. Some punks get all tricked out in the look (pretentious perhaps?), some don't give a shit. I don't give a shit. That's just me. To hell with everyone else.
