Those movies are so good. Toy Story 2 is the biggest tear-jerker for me - the part where Jessie gets left behind always gets me.

Yeah, that was the topper before but the final few minutes of 3 came along. Wow... I was bawling like a baby ... at 43 ... THAT is good storytelling ...

Well, finished the online application for school. I hate that the field for GPA would only accept a numerical value. I was in a special program and I got evaluations for most of my classes instead of grades so I have no GPA. Not that it will remotely effect my ability to get accepted to community college. Passing high school works just fine for that. But it's really annoying to have 78 credit hours of classes that I did really well in and have to put 0 for my GPA. Hurts my vanity. :)

Sad I was unable to make shepherd's pie. Not enough potatoes. Had to settle for hamburger, potatoes, peppers, and onions all mixed up. And Grilled Squash with sliced cucumbers and tomatoes. Still worked out well. Was very good. I love fresh veggie season!
I was with you up until the squash and cucumbers.

Well I didn't mix the squash and cucumbers. I grilled the squash and simply sliced the cucumbers. :) Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom!

The only squash I eat is zucchini. And I prefer it in bread.
I only eat cucumbers if they are pickled.

And the first zucchini of the season should be ready in a day or two. Sugar Snap Peas are still going well as is the lettuce. Spinach has already gone to seed. Raspberries should be ready in a couple of weeks.

I make some mean zucchini muffins. Soo yummy.
If y'all are lucky maybe I'll bring some to paizocon next year.

Lettuce didn't do well this year, but the tomatoes are looking good. The green beans are starting to grow their pods, and the squashes, both summer and acorn are producing nice flowers as are my pumpkin plants. We have been getting a ton of golden raspberries, about a month early for some reason (go figure) My leeks now look like ornamental drumstick Alliums, and my garlic is almost ready for braiding!

I can't seem to grow tomatoes here for the life of me. I just don't get it. And I've grown pumpkin with mixed results. Usually zucchini does well for me here, but this year seems to be slow going. I've heard that other people are having an odd year for growing things.

Monkey's gardening tip for the day: Do you get too many green beans during your growing cycle to conceivably eat? Then try Dilly Beans!
If you like pickles, and green beans, you will LOVE these lil' honeys! And they last forever! And they go on sandwiches like a dream! Highly reccommended.

Yeah it's odd. I got in gladioli already, and it's only mid-July. usually they come in late August. And my chrysanthemums are starting to bloom, very odd. And the berries seem to be off, but the pumpkins are chugging right along. Hoping this year for a 1-200 pounder from my Atlantic Giant plants. Best I've managed in the three years since I built my pumpkin patch was about 70 lbs.

You might want to consider a tomato box. I made one that was 4'x4'x8' with a Plexiglas lid, and it worked great.
