I am interested in your game. It could take up to a week for me to get my character ready, so if you get enough other players, I can step aside.

Would allow any other Genius Guide classes?

That's fine Tordek. Welcome aboard.

They are the only two I feel comfortable allowing right now.

Are the Genius Guides required to play, or is core sufficient?

They are just options, Core is sufficient.

Level dependent benefits are in addition to core? So human gets extra feat for being human and another for LDB?

Racial Traits + Modified LDB. Humans start with three feats; 2 1st level, 1 Human bonus.

I am now opening this up to non-fawtlers. If you have an interest, sound off!

I have 5-6 spots left.

I am interested. Started my first PbP here last winter. Ready for another. Have the day off so I will start working on an original concept.

I'm interested but don't have the non-core material you mentioned, which worries me.

Treppa wrote:

Nothing beyond the Core Rulebook is required. The rest are just options.

Speaking of which, The Genius Guide to the Shadow Assassin is now a base class option for characters.

I'm interested but very tired. I'll post some kind of character idea tomorrow.

Boomwrangler here.

Character is done, just too tired to post tonight.

Halfing rogue. Local balladeer, gaining popularity. Think less thief and more spy.

Liberty's Edge

I'd be interested in trying out, it would be my first PBP but I would need to know what the posting schedule would be like because 2 weeks out of the month i work 12.5+ Hours a day and its a hectic schedule but I can post once i'm done with my shift that day and then i'm off for 2 weeks which isn't a big deal then =).

Ya i should be able to post a minimum of 1 post a day on workdays and definitely a lot more on my days off.

But if that would cause issues i will bow out ^^d.

@ Sunset: Ya i'm up here in Alaska, USA so my timezone is usually always 6 hrs behind most people lol everyone is in the lower 48 or elsewhere it seems... ._. it would be nice to have some local gamers lol.

i'll try and cover a class that no one has hit yet =)

*holds up hand*

Hey-YA! Sorry I just noticed your shout out. Much like Rin, my shift schedule kind of sucks.

I should be able to manage at least one post a day. Though my time zone etc is on a different side of the planet to most folks.

Looking to join in another PbP if you'll have me...errr, um, a character that is. =)

Cheers!

Check my page for finished character sheet. Backstory posted soon, undergoing final revision.

TAD, feel free to check my numbers. I only used core + official traits.

Tiefling OK or no-go?

In process of creating character, will have it ready soon.

This character is ready and waiting on dm's approval. Background pending.

I will be throwing my proverbial hat into the proverbial ring and finish up my character

Treppa wrote:

Tiefling is fine.

Looks like I left out the bit on starting money. Your get your class maximum + 33.5% (rounded down to the nearest gold piece).

Right now that only thing I see that needs fixing is your Hit Points. You should have 18 (Con 10 + D8 Hit Die).

Do me a favor and let how me know how many ranks you put into each skill so I can check your math.

Also, it looks your Adoptive Parent trait is mixed up. When yout take the Adoptive Parents trait, you don't pick one of the Racial Traits of the adopted parent from the Core Rulebook, but instead you choose one trait out of the two available to you that is exclusive to your adopted parents race. For example if your adopted parents race is elf then you can choose one of the following traits to apply to your character; Arcane Dabbler, Lapsed Faith, Seeker of Brightness, Warrior of Old or Youthful Mischief.

Rin & Sunset; Welcome Aboard.

Thank'e very muchly! (^_^)

Sorry I haven't much in the way of showing a character, work, life and my service provider dropping off the twig have not helped matters. :P

Will review the character generation and options as soon as possible and work something up...or just roll one of my many copied characters over...either way I hope to post somthing soon.

Cheers!

Agia is built. Hope she is suitable.

Tahlumilali is ready and waiting for approval of the dm. May the shadows will that Tahlumilali be acceptable in your eyes. Just got to flesh out the background some more.

Roger that Twin Agate Dragon I'm in the same boat as Sunset I'll get something to you ASAP, I'm heading back to work today so i'll be away from a computer until tomorrow around 6 am (AKST) = GMT-9.

Sorry for the inconvenience and if you need to you can replace me with someone who is totally ready ^^d thats up to you boss, I didn't expect to go back to work early so I don't want to hold everyone up because of my schedule.

Thanks ^^

Questions.

1) Is the book "Pathfinder Chronicles" 'Campaign Settling' okay/allowed?

So, I might either 'Re-work' Crystal, LINK back to 1st lvl,

Or throw Sunny into the fray , LINK

Your call, oh illustrious DM. =)

You can use the Campaign Setting book and the Guide to Korvosa (just stay away from chapter 5 & the Appendix) books for inspiring your character's info.

Thank you kindly. Though I do have the whole Korvosa thing about the house and have played through that adventure once, I should be capable of retaining my innocence in the adventure that is to come.

So, you would be happy with "Spirit of the river" from the Campaign guide (Pg 219) ?

Cheers!

I won't be running that adventure, but will be splicing pieces of character backstory and other piece of info together to weave a different story.

Don't have that one, so no.

Ah, that's a bugger. Hmm....will redo both characters (Sunny will get a double posting to cover both this game and the game she's standing ready for).

Cheers!

Interesting...

Concept: Student at the Acadamae, to smart for his own good. Resents authority, wants freedom to experiment.
Finishing up, background n'stuff pending.

Problem: Whats the starting gold for alchemists?

The starting gold is 3d6 x 10. I think at least.

Same as Rouge, thought so. The alcemist is quite rouge-ish...

P.S. Don't look yet! Work in progress!!

Shoping left, please tell me what you think.

Apperance

Spoiler:

5'8'', 140Ibs, Blong hair and grey eyes. Lean and gracefull he's dressed in what appears like leather armor with strips of metal plating over dark green robes. Many belts carry various pouches and vials of unknown purposes. Obviously not to worried about apperance or hygene he still strikes a fair image, his teeth are browning, his hair is greasy and his clothes, although fashionable, have many stains of various color from unknown substances. His eyes are keen and his fingers deft and he is not shy to smile.

Personality
Spoiler:

Kyras is smart. He is smart and he knows it. Not that he means to be contemptious to his 'betters' but frankly they can be thick as rocks. Kyras conciders himself an artist and his chosen profession an artform. Perfecting the various formula, finding new applications for common materials, unleashing the power and potential of the seemingly mundane.
He is by no means cruel and holds no malice for past transgressions. He just wants the liberty to experiment freely with substances kept from him. Beeing headstrong and stubborn is not a good mix with (sometimes percieved) supperior intellect, leading him to ignore direct orders and develping skills for aquiering components descreatly.

Background
Spoiler:

Son of the elven ambasador in Korvosa and an infactuated noblewoman Kyras is a minor embarasment who is curtly ignored. Deliverd to the embasy after his birth and mostly shunned by his father, he was nevertheless nurtured and raised there. That is, untill his rebelliously curious nature coused the west wing to burn down. When it was apparant that Kyras would not allow his intellect to be guided by the elves he was enrolled into the Acadamea in Korvosa.
Finding there a wast opportunity to sate his curiosity Kyras was utterly disapointed. Although he exelled at every class he showed any interrest in, the rigedness of the tuterledge and the lack of freedom in experimenting have led to many a row with his tutors and headmasters.

Friends
Spoiler:

Kyras is close to leading a double life. He has a selected crowd he aknowledges in school but his chosen crowd are the not-so well-to-do artists living in Korvosas shingle district. Finding in them kindred spirits in creative freedom and the veneration of Sheylin.

I am interested, click the avatar for character.

Ach, I must withdraw. Sorry.

Toughness grants +6 hit points at 1st level (+4, +2 for 1st hit die) and and additional +2 hit points for every hit die thereafter.

Looks pretty good. I'd like to see some detail on his tastes, habits, likes, dislikes, fears, close notable friends and anyone that may have a grudge against him.

Okay, going with Crystal. Character re-working in progress. Sorry for causing any delays. *bows*

Cheers!

So any changes that are apparent or is all good with Tahlumilali?

You should only have 26 hp though.

14 (Con) + 6 (Class HD) + 6 (Thoughness: 4+2) = 26
You don't get your Con score plus your Con modifier at first level.
