Arwen Grace (a.k.a. houstonbaby) came into the world at 4:31 a.m. healthy, with all of her fingers and toes and a nice crop of hair (and her daddy's cleft chin!).
:)
Congrats!!! Wonderful news!!! As a new father, myself, I know the joy you are feeling! Start practicing you one-handed typing as the Paizo boards will keep you company as you are up late at night.
Best,

Grats; totally awesome; nothing like it; enjoy it; make sure you give your partner something to make it a joyous memory; if you do flower; set them up at home; she will really appreciate a wonderful homecoming, but then; you probably already knew that, so just saying; lot of years of maritial bliss can be had from what you do to make her feel extra extra special in these next 48 hours or so; will last a lifetime. I didnt know it; so learned the hard way; so am just saying in case you or anyone needs to know; no since in taking lumps when you can learn from others.
I probably have some baby stuff too....if needed dependin on your situation.

Got the message last night -- this has to be the best excuse for skipping a game in the history of Pathfinder! I'll let Mrs. Gersen know the measurements. See you soon, and look forward to meeting Arwen.
The best part of the night, from a gaming standpoint, was when mommie plushthulhu (a gift, of course, from Mr. and Mrs. Gerson) was sprayed with amniotic fluid. I made the sanity check, but the world is now doomed...

I wasn't there, and I think I just failed it...

Houstonderek:
Hmm, you could bookmark this thread so you can post progress updates on it (first walk, first sword slash, first word 'dagon', etc) or just simply to come back to and look at in later years... "These were the best wishes to you from all daddy's friends right around the world..."

+1
'Last night Arwen succeeded on her first coup de grace. I'm so proud of her.'
'Arwen let me have 1st pick of the treasure when we were looting bodies last game.'
Oh, the possibilities.

Here's to hoping she is inundated with gifts of plush d20's, Monty Python Kni-knights, Cthulhus, R2-D2's, and Dragons.
A little girl has to have a stuffed animal collection.
EDIT: When mom's not watching, put a d20 in her hand and shake her hand until it falls out. Both my boys got Nat 20's this way. Babies are lucky with dice.
Just don't let her hang on to it until she's at least 3!
