Update on Joe. Things are going well. Taking pain meds, eating a little bit. Scans all look normal, no answer why or where bleed came from. Blood needs to reabsorb into system. Trying to sleep but it's hard in ICU. Thanks for your prayers and support. Shari and Family, will update again.

Vampire! Not that there is anything wrong with vampires. I have tons of vampire friends.
I hope he is feeling himself soon. Let him know he has a poodle hump coming his way…when he is feeling well enough to endure one.

I am humbled by all the support I have received during this.
I GO HOME TOMORROW!
Not out of the woods yet, - ha ha, a little tree humor - , but looking forward to beginning the at-home recovery phase.
Thanks to you all for your prayers and wishes. I've discovered a fundamental difference in people. Peoples of faith have the ability to see and feel things others cannot. This trial has strengthened me. Will continue to stregthen me.
Enough of this mushy stuff. I expect to be home recovering for weeks yet. My computer time will be limited, but I will be here. Among some of the best darn people I've never met!
God Bless!

Bummed that my at-home recovery begins with severe liquid restrictions (800 mL per day. 1 to 2 week duration) to keep the sodium levels from dropping. That's a small price to pay to keep my sanity intact. No driving, and I determine how much or little stimulus I can handle. Tylenol 3 is the only scrip. Follow ups in 2 weeks with the docs.

800mL? Don't doctors usually tell you to drink plenty of fluids? Does that include water?
I am relieved you are back home. I wish you a speedy and uneventful recovery. My own financial situation prevents me from doing so. However, considering it is refund time, surely some decent Paizoan could send you some reading material to aid in your recovery. If only you had a wishlist…

LOL. Actually this will give me the chance to get caught up on the APs I've been collecting. Thanks for the thought, but there are people far more needing.
As for the fluid restriction, it's all about my sodium count. It drops a lot due the problem itself, so it needs to be bolstered temporarily. Too much liquid washes the much-needed sodium from the system. On top of that my ability to handle reading, watching TV, surfing the web, etc. will be very limited. *sigh* It will be a long 1-2 weeks.
