We just lost power at work for almost a half hour.

Three guesses where I'm polishing my round 4 entry.

The powers back and the FIRST thing I did was sent the draft home and to my phone.

Hm. Panera or Barnes & Noble.

That's two. Do I need a third?

EDIT: Or then again, you may not have a laptop, so you probably went home. That's my third.

Oh man. Paizo took about 45 seconds to load this morning and it made me reeeel nervous too. :)

Not taking any chances. Submitted it here and now just need to finish the map (prays scanner at home doesn't die).

Good luck Matthew.

I just submitted myself.

Well both are away. I wish the best of luck to no more than three of my fellows.

(blink) I really read that the wrong way. I hope the map on your stomach comes out clearly. (It's a navel warfare encounter, isn't it?) At least we can say you've given your all to the competition.

Hahaha.

Really, that made me laugh out loud. Thursday morning I arrived at Reality having just caught a plane out of Vicodin City. Earlier this week there's no telling what I might have written and whether I'd actually meant it.

But I've submitted (something).. and now it's BIG SIGH time.

As a spectator now, I have to say that the anticipation hasn't dulled off. I'm as geared up to see what you guys have whipped as when I was waiting for the judges' critiques for myself. G'luck guys!

Scarab Sages

Well I have greatly enjoyed the entries this year.

Good Luck everyone.

Here we are in the 'Heart Attack' lounge. Hmm, now there's a adventure location!

Undoubtedly placed within convenient walking distance of the 'All Bacon and Cheese Buffet' dining room.

**Has memories of the re-fried deep-fried bacon on 4th of July**

**Thinks even harder**....oh a war crime....anyone know what that is?

...wow. And I thought the bacon-apple pie I made for thanksgiving was scary.

I didn't join the discussion because...I pulled an all-nighter on Thursday, which I haven't done since grad school, and went to bed before Murder She Wrote was even over last night
It really looks like we put are all into these and I can't wait to see everyone's entries
Good luck everyone.
Matt, I'm glad you got yours in.

When I was doing this in the '08 contest I had a power outage too. Ended up tweaking and then sending in the rough draft I had on my flash drive since I couldn't turn on my desktop.

That's why laptops rock as work computers. All I lose when the power goes out at work is the second screen.

Isn't that "I just committed myself"?

I do that one all the time. Its fun when mental institutes turn out the lights in the whole complex to pretend they're abandoned, just so they won't have to take me in.

If you're running an asylum and want to try this, here a word of caution: Don't do this in the nyctophobes' rooms.
