Well worth full price. At LEAST 90% as good as the original. Hell, it is well worth seeing TWICE at full price. ~grins~

Seconded.

Very good movie. Great little hints in the movie. Some cheesy one liners but funny nonetheless. Stay after for bonus scene. I like war-machine even more now. That's all I can say without ruining the movie.

oh yeah, I can't believe they have already shot and are releasing the third "Sparkly ones" movie. Let it die already. That is about 30 seconds I need to burn out of my brain.

Well, they do have to look like they're remotely high-school age...

My son and I watch the Twilight "saga" with RiffTrax. It makes the viewing experience much better, and he's too young for alcohol. :)

So it was kinda like Natural Born Killers, then? Impossible to view sober?

On a side note back when that movie was out I went with my gf at the time on a double date, we left after 30 minutes and went and made out in the lobby. :P

We're good. I put in for the time off for our little get together, and the whole family is pretty jazzed about you guys being here.

What may happen is that Woody may drive out to my neck of the woods on Wednesday the 19th and then we'll head out your way on the 20th. I still intend to fly back on the 24th. I just got to do a last minute price comparative on flight(s) to see the difference between round-trip and one way to satisfy the missus.

As a rental suggestion, the Hyundai Sonata.

Pretty good. We're returning from breakfast with my inlaws, and tomorrow we're going to see Iron Man and Kickass for Mother's Day. Plus I've got an on-site interview on Tuesday for a job in Charlotte.

How are you and the family?

By the way, I will be working on my PbP and F2F characters this weekend.

Amen. I like looking for the old American-made iron tools. Man people just GIVE them away! I got like 30 circa 1950's slightly-used wrenches last weekend for $.25 each. They weigh three times what wrenches do today.

For me it's old Cash albums, I once got Live from San Quinten for 25 cent. But as for tools, what you got will last 3 lifetimes, you got to love quality.

You have now ruined the series.

But, that reminds me, in the original Battlestar Galactaca it was stated in the pilot episode that the cyclons were created by a race of lizard people.

The original also had Jane Seymour in it.

Well worth full price. At LEAST 90% as good as the original. Hell, it is well worth seeing TWICE at full price. ~grins~ Of course, I saw the original 4 times in the theater.

~grins~ I really need to go to bed, but Iron Man 1 is calling my name. Gah! Sleep or an awesome movie?

I saw it yesterday too omg too many one liners. Not too mention all the really sad tie ins. UGH

movie plot spoiler:
The finding of captain americas shield lol, "the avengers" portfolia, after the end credits finding a crater in the desert with Thor's hammer next to it. OMG TOO MANY TIE INS.

But all in all a good movie I have to admit.

Why yes they were, and originally, in the movie they were in fact cyborgs. Hence the name Cylons. It was not until the re-edit for the TV series where aliens were removed from the show and they were made into robots. Since you can not, in the 70's/80's, show a living being killed several times a show.

Personally I kind of liked the reptilian/snake people being a part of the original design of the cylons and felt that they should have kept it for the re imagining and new series. Why, well it sticks with the religious mythology from the original concept and from the heavy dose of spiritualism for the new series as well.

of course I liked the scene in the original series where they just missed the old TV signal from the first man on the moon.

One thing you don't want to remeber when you go to your nieces BDay party, is to see is your brother in law's dog have a seizure and nearly die, and then get up as if nothing was wrong.

Wish my life wasn't quite so interesting.

Starlin Castro = WOW what a debut!
