Starlin Castro = WOW what a debut!

That must have been traumatic for your niece.

Glad the dog is ok now.

And it looks like I'll not be attending GenCon this year. My recent health issue has put a major crimp in my budget. *sniff*

Fixed that for you, citizen. I'll let you off with a warning this time. We're here to help.

Hey Uri, I won't even charge you for gas(read fuel) for the car. Since you are offering to let me stay at your place I feel that is a fair trade.

Actually it wasn't her dog. My brother-in-law brought his dog to the party, a slumber party for my neice, so 20 pre-teen girls were there, and right after they arrived, she started running around (there were 3 other dogs around, he he) and she collapsed on the ground, started foaming at the mouth, all that. Really scary, I thought she was gonna die right there. But after a few minutes, she got up and was OK. I think maybe it was the car ride or perhaps something she ate.

She is a great dane mix, only a few years old.

I'm too old for this excitement, he he

Cheap Trick? That would be vice. I should call that in.

Sounds like epilepsy. I hope he doesn't plan to breed her.

Should have her checked out if it happens again. Dogs seize for odd reasons and sometimes only once in their lives. Same with foaming. Keep an eye on her.

Actually, there will probably be an instance where I will need to throw in gas money. I'll explain to you in a bit once things finalize.

Make sure to have pleny of dough on you, though. Depending on what time you roll in either directions, I need to show you some of the finer things out here that may catch your geek interests. :P

Dumb question ... but did the dog manage to get a hold of some grapes or even chocolate...?

..where the hell is the F2F thread...?

Just remember there are no dumb questions, only dumb people that ask them, he he. Seriously, I don't know. They had just gotten to the party, and they drove up from San Diego, about an hour or so, It seems like maybe she had eaten something bad earlier, but my brother in law said he didn't feed her anything but dog food. I imagine the seizure was triggered by the excitement because it was pure chaos there, and Molly (the dog's name) is very exciteable, he he. Treppa thinks it is epilepsy, but who knows for sure.

I thought of the same thing, but epilepsy would have surfaced by now ... would would think (?)...

My thoughts were that there's at least 20 pre-teen girls and someone may have thought to feed a begging dog something ... or someone left food around or the dog was foraging ... shrug.

Yeah, I can imagine. I have heard Great Danes have health problems, but hopefully it's just the heat or something.

mmmm 3.5 drooolllllll. big things I am looking for: Monster Manual, BoVD, and anything that catches my eye

Home, Sleepy, and wanting to go out tonight, but have no sitter.

On an up note, I took Sat and Sun off for the big visit in 2 weeks. Now to get the house cleaned up. :)

LOL, Riley is running around in my flip flops, so cute!

And now Hubby and Arden and Riley are all dancing around the living room to Flogging Molly. :)

Breakfast for Dinner.....AWESOME!

Even better than Breakfast for Dinner is Breakfast for Dinner and Hubby cooking!

Gonna bail now, time to hang with the family. Papers to write later. :)
