OK. This isn't exactly what I had in mind, but since it's a PbP we'll go with it. I'll start up the first Campaign thread tomorrow after I get back in town. A little better explanation of what I meant to communicate is:
Every character writes up a Novel Title, and back paragraph about an adventure starring their character. This gives a capsule of what the character is good at and likes to do.
Then the next player in line ties his character as a guest star to the player in front of them numerically (In Tabletop games we go left to right)
Then the third player in line ties his character as a guest star to the first players paragraph.
That is the back page of the novel. It then goes down the line.
Player 1 is star: Players 2 and 3 are guest stars
Player 2 is star: Players 3 and 4 are guest stars
Player 3 is star: Players 4 and 5 are guest stars
Player 4 is star: Players 5 and 1 are guest stars
Player 5 is star: Players 1 and 2 are guest stars.
So everybody is the star of one novel, and the guest star of two. Ties the party together without singling out one individual. If you guys want to go through this exercise you can (It is really fun in tabletop) but if you just want to get started I'll start the game tomorrow.
A few house rules:
1. When you level up roll two of the appropriate dice and take the best result.
2. When you cast healing magic, roll an additional die and discard the lowest. (NOTE: This doesn't apply to Channeling
3. Got rid of the old Flat footed till you've acted rule. If you're not surprised you're not flat footed. I feel this gives initiative too much clout.
If I think of more I'll post them tomorrow along with beginning game thread.

Then I think nobody got it :)
although I must admin that this explanation is perhaps better than the one in the other OOC thread. But I'm for it ... a little creativity never hurt anybody :)

Game thread is up, but we can still do the background exercise. I'll be able to work it in.

hey, I'm back but btinging bad news: I broke my wrist so typing is hard. Have you found other players yet?
Not yet. If you're still interested come on board. You could be one of the patrons on the floor (Read game thread for details), whom broke his wrist in the fall, and is now climbing to his feet, seeing what is going on.

Hark...there is a post on the game thread bringing you into the game if you're still in.
