I'm looking for, good, high quality, free Pathfinder artwork for use in my roleplaying games. Where might I find it? Is there a gallery like over on the WotC site?
There isn't a gallery like WotC has, but a lot of artwork has been released or previewed in the Paizo Blog. Additionally, everything that is legally available under the Community Use Policy can be found on the PathfinderWiki and we tend to keep it updated whenever new art is made available.

We don't have an actual art gallery, though the Paizo blog contains lots of art. The best way to find what you're looking for is probably via the tags, in particular the monsters and portraits tags. There are tags for individual illustrators, such as Wayne Reynolds or Eva Widermann.

I found Michael Jaeck's DeviantArt art gallery, which has tons of Pathfinder artwork.

I found Michael Jaeck's DeviantArt art gallery, which has tons of Pathfinder artwork.
Most of the artists who contribute to Pathfinder have DeviantArt accounts, such as Julie Dillon, Andrew Hou, Svetlin Velinov, Ben Wootten, and Kevin Yan. A search for "Pathfinder" brings up a lot of stuff, both official and fan-made.

I just made a new tag for wallpapers. Right now it's only current back to October 2008; when I get a chance I'll finish adding the rest of the entries that contain wallpaper-sized art (1680 pixels wide).

I've actually just cleaned out my deviantArt favorites page *HERE*, which contains every official piece of Pathfinder art I have come across on dA, which I have scoured pretty extensively. I try to keep it up to date, so anyone who's into Paizo art and can't get enough on the blog, you may want to bookmark this page. None of this is available for reuse under the Community Use Policy, but you can use it in your games and for personal use as wallpapers or screensavers or whatever. If you know of any official Pathfinder art on dA that I haven't included, let me know and I'll add it.

OK, the wallpapers tag has been updated back to the beginning of the Paizo blog.

I think you're missing a couple by velinov, namely Consumed by Beetles and Ghost Paladin.
I made a collection of my own, here, though I'd take it with a pinch of salt, since it includes some fan-stuff and some Open Design.
Of course, if anyone wants to actually go through the wife's gallery while they're there, that would be appreciated (hint).

Thanks, Snorter. I added the missing Velinov pieces and some more that I found through your list.
this guy looks like he might be an outtake from Burnt Offerings. Anyone else know if this particular piece has appeared in a Pathfinder product?

I also went ahead and fancied up the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game page so it rotates randomly through a bunch of images from various Paizo products. (Mouseover the image to see the name of the product it came from, and click the image to go to that product in the store. Because you know you want to buy it now that you can see how purty it is on the inside. :-)

Hey Gary - Wanted to confirm something. The Pathfinder CUP says that only artwork from the blog or the community use package are open content, and I don't think the art you have rotating in that page are from either, which seems to suggest they are not open content. Can you confirm that? I'd like to re-use some on d20pfsrd.com, but only if they are open content.

So far everything that's shown up on the PFRPG page when I f5 it has appeared in the blog at some point. I recently went through every blog entry and pulled the Pathfinder art from it and added them to the wiki, so I'm pretty familiar with what's available under the CUP and what's not. Unless there are images showing up for you that aren't for me, everything from that page is legal for re-use under the CUP.

Ben did one of my favorite pictures of a nameless dungeon magazine iconic.

Hey RD ... seriously, the best way to get art for your campaign is to extract it directly from the PDFs (of course, you can't post it or anything because it's not "open content" so to speak). But if your just printing out some images to pass around the table during sessions, it works great.

I don't have any of the PDFs. I've been considering getting a subscription, but I can't find out where to do that, what I would get out of it, or how much it costs.

Your cost for subscriptions is going to depend on what's released each month and which subscriptions you have. All the Pathfinder subscriptions are listed here. Cost is based on the listed discount off cover price, and you can get the additional Pathfinder Advantage discount if you are an AP subscriber. If you just subscribe to one of the other lines, it's generally cover price plus shipping.

AP subscriber?

AP subscriber?
Yeah, there are a lot of variables at play, but
If you subscribe to the Adventure Path line only, you'll get one book monthly which will be at 30% off cover price (which is $19.99, so after discount it's $13.99) plus shipping. You also get a free pdf of any book that comes as part of a subscription.
If you subscribe to the Modules line only, you will get a bimonthly adventure at cover price plus shipping. Again, you'd get the free pdf of all subscription books.
If you subscribe to both the Adventure Path and the Modules line, you get the AP at 30% off, as above, but you also get 15% off the Modules. And 15% off just about everything in the paizo.com store (except non Paizo pdfs and a few other things). And you still get the free pdfs.
How you set your shipping options for multiple subscriptions can impact cost, but there's a calculator on the subscriptions page that will show you what your estimated costs will be in coming months so you can always plan ahead.
The Customer Service team are great, too, so if you have questions, I suggest calling them at the number at the bottom of the page, emailing them at the address at the bottom of the page, or posting to the customer service forums at the top of the messageboard, and they'll help you out.

So what if I want past products (such as some of the map packs that have already been released)? Do I get it all as a lump sum for my first month of service (which may be terribly expensive) or do I have to go back and buy them (more work on my part, but more reasonable financially).

When you start the subscription you can choose to start with current product in the line or the next one. You can not get past products as part of the subscription, though if you get the Pathfinder Advantage by subscribing to the adventure paths, your 15% discount would apply to all older books you might buy a la carte. Also note, though, that you only get free pdfs with books that ship as part of the subscription. So the sooner you subscribe the sooner you reap the rewards, and when the ship sails for one book, it's done.

Well that's kind of lame. I really don't get the free PDFs even though I bought the book legitimately?

This is my understanding of things, I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm talking rubbish! :)
The PDF's are meant to be a bonus for subscribing to a product. Paizo gets the advantage of knowing that a certain amount of sales are more or less guaranteed, while the subscriber gets the benefit of a PDF. New subscribers don't really help in terms of products that Paizo has already released, hence no free PDF when buying old product.
I came on board with Pathfinder late myself, so of course I'd love it if free PDF's came with every product. But I can understand why that's not possible.

They're currently all from the blog.

Points to Yoda for correct terminology—because they're all taken from the blog, they're available for use under the Community Use Policy... which is not the same as "open content" (common shorthand for "Open Game Content under the OGL"). They are explicitly *not* Open Game Content.

That last part just sounds ... bad for some reason.
Sorry, nevermind me.
