See, that pisses me off. I have no problem with revealing Christmas-y clothing. But what the hell is that coat? What the hell kind of coat doesn't go all the way around your body and doesn't button up to your neck?
I wouldn't have a problem if, say, her leg was sticking out of a proper coat and she only had it buttoned up to the middle of her chest. But for crying out loud that coat is someone rolling a 1 on their Craft (tailoring) check. Or their Survival check, I suppose.

1. You may have trouble seeing it but the cut of the coat is actually fine. The pic is just tilted such where the cut/break of the seams appear to be off. Look at the larger image.
2. I'm sure the Warmth property is a function of the coat. (I know I'm warm)
3. I have that coat. In Grey. And nice legs too, thank you very much.

You have a winter coat that doesn't button up past your solar plexus? Isn't that awfully cold?
I know I'm picking on this particular image but this nonsense happens all the time. In fact, I've just been playing Lost Planet, where it was obtrusively retarded as well.
I know I am picking on a stupid thing, but seriously, nobody's drawing Harsk running around in a snowy field with an unbuttoned shirt and a fur loincloth.

My GF thinks the coat is pretty.
Also, she's a freakin' sorcerer and probably has spells to protect her from cold, so clothing doesn't have to be protective.
I mean, seriously, AMIB, have you seen how she normally dresses?
Also also, women do crazy things for fashion even in the real world. I've seen girls in a coat and a miniskirt walking around campus when it's in the high 20s. Strangely, they are not freezing to death, and they don't have magic.

Yes. Happy holidays!

That's because Harsk prefers a more sedate pose to a running pose.

Who? Seoni or your girlfriend?

I have seen them... hang out around the street with all of the clubs in New Haven, Connecticut on a Thurs, Fri or Sat night, especially the week that CT colleges come back from winter break. Most of them have a split in the front and some sort of tie to make the 'skirt' into two 'pant legs' for walking outside.

See, that's actually practical. There's nothing wrong with someone wearing a coat buttoned up to their belly, but a coat that doesn't button up higher is not in any sense a winter coat.

See? He's got the good sense to dress like that inside.

Ok time for google image search
Example which doesn't button AT ALL
and these are just the first few pages. Endure elements and warmth mean that she can handle the cold much better than 'real life' humans, plus she's an adventurer, not used to temperature controlled rooms, and getting from one place to another in heated cars.

All of those are cut so that you can pull them closed up to your neck. That's the whole point of the heavy fur around the collar on winter coats; to help keep your neck and face and the lower part of your head warm and keep cold drafts from getting into the coat. If the collar can't come up near your face, what's the point?

See, when you know you can just hop into a heated building or a car, you don't think much of it. -40 degree winters and regularly walking as part of work are what spawned this (rather obscure, admittedly) pet peeve for me.

What I don't understand about this debate is the focus on the outfit. Everyone seems to be neglecting the fact that she has three yeti lassoed up with a strand of Christmas lights, which to me clearly indicates that this is a depiction of a fantasy scene (as in made up; not conforming to reality; pretend). So why does it matter that she has a hot costume that probably is not very warm.
She is a sorceress with enough power to compel abominable snowmen with a strand of lights (that is not plugged into anything mind you, yet its still lit...must be magic). She can do what she wants and wear what she wants. And from all of the other art I have seen of Seoni, this outfit does not seem out of the norm for that iconic.
I think the art is great, and the outfit is sexy and at the same time very festive. I don't care if its realistic. The yeti killed realism right from the start, and I don't need any reality in fantasy art.

Perhaps the discussion of how she's dressed should be moved to a different forum. Can't we all just agree that, regardless of practicality, it's a very nice looking...card?

Magic. Obviously.
I'm rather surprised that people are taking my posts in this thread so seriously...

Is this *that* thread again?
YAY!!!
Can somebody please cut my eyelids off for me? I can't do it myself no matter how drunk I get, and I don't want to miss a second of it.
I think it should become a holiday tradition that we time how long it takes for "that" threat to start after the card is first displayed. Kind of like drinking eggnog or watching your brother-in-law turn red when your mother uses the word vagina in a conversation. I love the holidays.

Paizo really needs to get a videogame going with the iconics so we can finally get a Girls of Pathfinder article in a gamer magazine or even Playboy. ;-)

As already pointed out, many coats don't button up to the deck.
I think you're looking at it wrong. If you follow the hem line where the buttons of the coat are, you'll realize that line Seoni's normal "robe" this "coat" splits on both sides of her legs. It's the way that's she's standing that doesn't make it obvious. This is basically a winterize version of her normal robe.
Considering the typical sexy Mrs Clause skirt female character (women) are in, this is a lot more functional. :)

Just this morning, I was wondering how long it would take for someone to link that.
