General trait
Seeking Adventure - The Pathfinder Society has long intrigued you—tales of the exotic lands and strange discoveries made by Pathfinders have enchanted your dreams and fired your imagination since childhood. When Pathfinders came through your village or neighborhood, they immediately enthralled you with their stories and knowledge. Yet at the time, you were far too young to join them, and when they left for adventure you had to stay behind. Now that you are of age, you’ve gone to the Pathfinder Society safehouse in Olfden, run by Luna Aldred, to apply for membership. The application process went well, and you’re now a full member. You begin the game with your own wayfinder, a loan from your venture-captain. You’ve promised to pay your venture-captain 500 gp for the wayfinder some day, but for now it’s yours to use. A wayfinder is a magical compass that grants you a +2 circumstance bonus on Survival checks to avoid becoming lost, and can be commanded to emit light as the spell (CL 5th) as a standard action.
...
Regional traits - traits available to characters coming from the given region.
Lupine Killer (Darkmoon Vale, Falcon's Hollow, Olfden, Piren's Bluff) - You grew up in Darkmoon Vale, a region where wolves, werewolves, and worgs are common. You killed your first wolf when you were young, when a pack of werewolves and wolves attacked your village, home, or caravan, and your hatred of them has only grown since then. You gain a +1 trait bonus on attack and damage rolls against wolves, werewolves, and worgs. If you are a barbarian and your fighting wolves, werewolves, or worgs, your rage last 1 round longer than normal. If you are a ranger and you select wolves, werewolves, and worgs as your favored enemy, your trait bonus on attack and damage rolls increased to +2. If you're a spellcaster, you gain a +1 trait bonus to spell save DCs for damaging spells against wolves, werewolves, and worgs.
Falcon's Hollow Firebrand (Falcon's Hollow) - You work closely with Sheriff Baleson and his deputies in defending citizens against attacks by Gavel Thuldrin Kreed and his crew. You are quick to react to opportunity, both physicall and mentally, and know that it is with sudden and swift action, that many conflicts are best resolved. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Initiative checks, and if you act in a surprise round, you gain a +1 trait bonus on attack rolls.
Merchant's Child (Olfden, Piren's Bluff) - One of your close relatives was a gifted merchant, and taught you early in life how to see the innate value in any object. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Appraise checks, and Appraise is always a class skill for you.
...
Religion traits - traits available to character with a certain deity
Devotee of a Condemned God (Iomedae) - Despite the Lumber Consortium's condemnation of your god, you still work to win over converts. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Diplomacy checks and Knowledge (religion) checks. One of these skills (your choice) is always a class skill for you.
Strength of the Sun (Sarenrae) - You take solace in the purifying light of the sun. When in sunlight, you gain a +1 trait bonus on all Charisma-based checks.

Binjion Franks wrote:Ask and you shall receive. If you're using that character, his abilities need to be modified using 20-point buy rules.
Sir you must jest! I did buy them with the 20 point buy. Base purchased stats on the 20 point buy were 11, 10, 12, 14, 15, 14. Humans receive +2 to any one ability score. I chose wisdom in this case changing my stats to 11, 10, 12, 14, 17, 14. Then if you notice, Binjion is not a spring chicken in fact, he is closer to 50 than 20 and is middle aged. This affects a -1 to Str, Dex, & Con and +1 to Int, Wis, & Cha. This made his final stats 10, 9, 11, 15, 18, 15. In fact he is so old that in about three years his stats will change again to 9, 8, 10, 16, 19, 16.
Now, if you feel I've done something "cheesy" here please consider that Binjion is far from a combat powerhouse. His physical stats are laughable but is decent at turning undead and spellcasting. Now if you feel that being old and physically weak does not balance the extra 4 point buy granted by being middle aged. (RAW for over 20 years btw) I can make him 30 in game, but I feel this robs him of the 15 extra years of life experience that I'd like to roleplay. Or you can toss out the aging rules all together in your game. Watch out for those 90 year old barbarians with a Str of 24. Scarier than his 20 year old grandson I tell ya. But, I jest.
Lastly as I look, my finished stats with the +2 racial and the aging effects added in total 31 points. If you'd like I could give myself a lower wisdom and more HP. If I took the +2 racial off from Wis and added to to Con my final point total with the racial and aging effects totaled up in the mix is 26.
In the end whatever you would like to do is fine with me Gryphon.

I am sure the aging template thingy was the slip up.
To my knowledge your stats are 100% fine.
(I am also older and wiser)

My mistake. I don't I've ever seen someone make a middle-aged character in D&D, and I didn't even think to consider that. Either set of stats is fine.

hes a PC -- and a friend from another board, interested in continuing here.
Sorry I didn't have anything posted earlier; Gryphon has all my information in messages as I was still (and continuing) trying to figure out how to post on Paizo boards.
Newbie here, but not to gaming or PBP.

Whooo Hooo seven players! I hope Gryphon feels like piling the hurt on. I running the Second Darkness AP for a group of six at a weekly tabletop game and it's amazing what I have to do to provide an appropriate challenge. Lets just say that last week with 13th level PC's a CR 14 umbral dragon and 4, CR 7 Spectres was not enough!

Guys, to clarify:
My posting of order of initiative is not a requirement or suggestion about what order to post in. It's just to make clear in what order the actions will take place when I summarize the round. In fact, I'd rather you not wait. If you take too long to post your actions in any round, I'll decide how your character acts and move on to the next round.

Bacchreus |

Sorry Darkmoon Valer but i'm kind of lost as to what initiative order we're up to and where our map positions are. I realise you've just said that you want us to post whenever but I'm not sure what you mean by summarise the round. Does that mean that when all the posts are in you'll give us a breakdown of what happens and then we go again?
If thats the case then I'm just confused as to our characters relative position to the action and without that it's hard to make an informed decision on my characters actions for the next round. As a simple example I don't know if my point blank shot feat should be added or not in my next attack.

Yes.
As of my last post in the adventure thread, it's round 3 and the hobgoblin has already taken his action for the round. There's an updated map with where everyone would approximately be at this point.

Monkey sit, you are posting in the wrong place, the place you want to look around is here: Gamer Connection Forum.

I noticed some of you don't have trail rations on you. I don't know if that was intentional or not, but if you'd like, you can go ahead and assume their purchase and add them to your sheets, subtracing their cost from your pocket.
I fall into this category. I didn't purchase rations along with starting equipment, because at the start is was not evident we were travelling cross country. I intended to have Binjion pick some up before he left the hollow. I have made the appropriate changes to my sheet. Thanks.

I need replacements for my campaign using Paizo's modules set in and around Falcon's Hollow. We are currently running through Hollow's Last Hope, characters are level 1, and we currently have a cleric and a ranger in the party. I'm looking for new characters to round out the party.
If your interested, post your concept in the OOC thread:
If the APG classes are allowed I've got a summoner rolled up that I'd be interested in bringing to the campaign. If not, I am very flexible in what I can play because I took a decade long sabbatical from RPG's and have a lot to make up for.

***Need new player's for Falcon's Hollow Campaign (Pathfinder)***
My concept is a character I've rolled for two PBPs that sadly didn't last 100 posts each.
It's a rogue/assassin. The abridged concept is:
Due to an early life incident - and a necessary killing - the character faced a moral dilemma. Deciding to act in a selfless way and believing it was their duty to protect others, they took up the role of a virtuous avenger.
They looked for wrongs to right when others would turn a blind eye.
This led to a life as a vigilante assassin. When those who transgressed were above the law, they saw that justice were done.
Many people would pigeon-hole this character as a rogue, but they see themselves more as a stealthy assassin, and has tried to develop their skills that way. They take on contracts that require someone to be eliminated - but never seeks payment. Their lack of strength (I like to play this character as a woman) means she always plans to get close to her victim and will use stealth or her charisma to achieve that 'kill.'
She may not be strong, but she is agile and uses this to compensate when others underestimate her abilities. She's smart and also charming when it suits her.
