I like the lines between threads.
I didn't start my own thread to be a wiener, I just hate conflict today.

Damnit. I haven't been on at all today. What'd I miss?

Liberty's Edge

Oh.....nothing here. Work was FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN.
I just didn't want to go to the other thread and be the inevitable "I always love playing cleric" guy in the "how do I get somebody to play the f%!$ing cleric?" thread.

I hear a cleric with full plate can make the lines go away.

Liberty's Edge

(lol) my pbp field stripped his +1 full plate for a breastplate. He gave the extra greaves and stuff to some chick on a Heavy Metal cover so's she could pose wearing it with a giant battleax and a black bikini.

Is that a new cleric power? Channel negative lines?

...I'm trailing behind too. Please fill in the blanks, er..., lines for me.

As you know I'm the type that wouldn't mind jumping into anti-cleric threads to say how great they are. Just point the way, please....

Also, yes, Ezren or any of his cohorts I am sure could stop out any lines as needed.

?

Also, Johnny Cash—would make a fantastic NPC.

Actually, I can see a great bard/cleric character being based on Johnny Cash. Man had prophetic fire in his bones.

Hey M.!,

Have you ever heard "The Man Comes Around"?

LOVE. IT.

Make wizards a prestige class.

The threat of extreme amounts of physical violence. Next Question!

:D

I recently prevented myself from being that guy.
What's the matter with people?

Liberty's Edge

I know....I love that people love playing cleric.
That being said,

where the f*&! are they when I join a game late and five dudes look at me and go, "gee.....we could reeeeeeeeeely use a cleric..."

Make most spells have a 1 round casting time. I might try that for the next game I run in Pflugerville. :)

…between a rock and a weird place.

New Jersey?

Hey...don't go hatin' on NJ.

It's an awesome place, as long as you stay in the country and the 'burbs...

Robot Chicken scared me away from NJ forevers.

No one creates characters before the game?

Good, NJ is overcrowded anyway, and property is (or at least, was) over-priced. Maybe I'll be able to afford to move back some day.

Must refer to Newark and the turnpike.

A pretty accurate perception..... If you have ever driven from Staten Island (an unholy blight on its own. I lived in the shadow of the largest garbage dump in the world for thirteen years) across the Outer Bridge, you'll fondly remember your olfactory sensors succumbing to the rancid odor of New Jersey.....sulfur, industrial byproducts, and the combined car exhausts of a thousand thousands 89 Dodge Aries. When I was a child we used to hold our noses and writhe in mock pain as we crossed the bridge.

It is exactly that in north jersey. And thanks for the bard/cleric based on Johnny cash Idea, think I'm going to make it a nemesis for the party I GM. Sooooooo many options there. And pre-written ominous music

My mom's from Jersey. I spent half my childhood in Jersey. Other than a few good summers spent on Long Beach Island, meh.

Yeah, must not be talking about Cherry Hill. Or Camden. Or Trenton. Or Matewan... Nope. Not at all ;)

MY favorite day was when I was at the races with my uncle at the Meadowlands and Passaic (yes, pretty much the whole town, near as I can tell) caught on fire. I think it was either late August or early September in 85.

Good times.

And I picked the trifecta for my uncle. He won two grand :)

C'mon, HD. Not the (South) shore? The orchards, vineyards, Pine Barrens, little town along the NJ/PA border...
