All righty, beta rules, Racial HP variant with full HP each level. Start at level uno (that's one for the bilingually-impaired). Point buy system at 25. Looking for 8 slots, give me your character concept in a one-paragraph post, starts this saturday, BE READY IF YOU ARE PICKED.
I expect you to post at least once a day on the weekdays, on the weekends post more...well, as much as you can. I'm not setting up a time schedule, but if it becomes an issue I will.
Use invisible Castle for rolls, although if you want me to roll for you, I will do that.
OK!
READY!
SEEEET!
GO!

I wouldn't mind but weekdays are when I post and weekends are family time so I don't know if that will work. I can usually post late at night on weekends if I am home.
I have a human monk that I would like to try out. A human from Katapesh that is traveling the world trying to find his place.

Quick and dirty- I'm thinking a male, half elven rogue looking for a fresh start after a life of petty crime in Magnimar. Not having the stomach to do the requested dirty work required to get into the Gargoyles and somewhat philosophically opposed to the Night Scales, Sandpoint may offer a chance at a cleaner, simpler life. Or at worst, some new marks to try and grift.

I'd be up for a game of Runelords. Have been trying to get into one for a long time like some people here it appears.
If you still have room, I'd be willing to play a variety of different characters; whatever spot needs filling would be fine.
One concept in mind is a cleric of Asmodeus who is lawful neutral, focusing more on the lawful aspect of him. Be an exile from Cheliax as he is not so fond of the more evil aspects of the church.

If you don't fear bad grammar, I would like to join. I understand English nearly perfect, but my grammar is some times really bad.
Another problem is that I am total fresh to the Path Finder RPG and would need some hours to make my Character (Should be finished tomorrow morning in us time zones). Planed is a (Human) Varisian Wizard that was Born and raised in Sandport, as second son of a middle wealthy sea trader family. Because of his Talents for Magic, his family send him to Galduria and paid for training in the new School of Magic, so he could support their businesses with this knowledge.

I'd be interested in joining this game. I am thinking a Dwarven Fighter. From the walled city of Janderhoff. He was always seen as an oddity. His father was the liason between their city and the Shoanti tribes that lived nearby. As such, Bronduk took an interest in the Shoanti culture and their method of fighting. As he learned more about the Shoanti ways, he became friends with a rare few and was able to barter an earthbreaker from one such friend. As he learned to use the weapon, he started to draw away from the fighting style of his homeland though he firmly held to the beliefs and family ties of his people. His family, fearing for their son's future, decided to send him away from the Shoanti influence and told him to travel to Sandpoint to help establish relations with the small, but thriving city.
He will start out as a fighter, then take a few levels of Barbarian before slipping back into fighter levels.

I am new to the pathfinder world, and would appreciate some advice for creating a character since I really don't know must of the region or
If you go to the "my downloads" page, you should find a free pdf of the Rise of the Runelords players guide. Have a read through it and it will give you enough stuff to at least get a grip on the immediate world the campaign is set in. Mechanically everything you need is in the beta rules (which I believe you said you've got). So the players guide is more to flesh out background and character concepts.
If you need helop building a character, just rhow you're ideas out there and someone will help (including me if I get the chance).
Cheers

Trying to figure out a deity to worship for a cleric
If you don't mind since we are looking at an 8 player part I was going to be a half-orc cleric of Gorum. She would be a very combat orientated cleric more out to fight than heal but with two clerics you will not just be healing all the other seven players.

Yes, we are using traits, and yes, you get one of those feats extra for free. They are there for flavor, after all.
Thanks for the tip on the email.
One or two traits?
Which feats? The acheivement feats?

Actually, while I was making my character I was thinking of how many clerics we have and what our party composition is looking like.
Would everyone be able to post what they are planning to be as the deadline draws near?
I was planning on being a half-orc cleric of Gorum.
But I also have a monk or barbarian in mind if you want to still play the cleric, it is up to you.I haven't added anything to my character profile so it is not a big deal for me to change.
