I would like to add my friend Julia to this post however. As a child she played Table Top with her older brother and within the last few years has Larped a couple of times. I tried to drag her to GenCon this weekend, but she at the last minute couldn't find the money. She's a huge sci-fi and comic book nerd as well as very open to the possibility of picking up table top gaming every once and while again.

Not if you install a shower in your gaming room. then you can shower and not have to leave the gaming table, heck install a little shelf to roll your dice and laminate your character sheet and you can play in the shower :)
