How would these villains do if they fought one another? Which would work together? Which would be instant enemies? What would their tactics be? Do you think a death match arena would be more fun or allow them to have their in-world resources?

Round one: FIGHT!
Actually, all 17 villains are fighting. Right now.
It is called RPG Superstar Round 3.
I am soooo tempted to participate but think that I should stay out of this until the voting is done. That said, I know who Bracht would go after!

I was thinking Gulga but, really any of the disease spreading villains. Flesh eating diseases really creep Bracht out. He's gotta keep it clean.
"I'm living proof that you don't, in fact, 'gotta keep it clean'..."
"And yes, that means your mothers lied to you about bath-time...potty-time...brushing your teeth...and a host of other subjects that I'm far too busy to get into at this point."
I'm thinking that Derinogen and Gulga are either a team or mortal enemies. Derinogen strikes me as the kind of aristocrat that would simply throw his failed alchemical substances down the drain.
You could probably count on Gulga keeping tabs on both Bracht and Derinogen if ever became aware of their activities.
Because Bracht also has knowledge of fleshwarping poisons, Gulga would be on guard in case he wanted to prey on otyughs to convey tentacles to other creatures. But, at the same time, he'd be interested in the potential for using Bracht's grafts and implants as yet another means for spreading Cyth-V'sug's parasites. So he'd be double-crossing Bracht down the road if they ever cooperated...and guarding against him doing the same.
As for Derinogen, there's a high degree of separation between the two in terms of level and CR. So, about the closest I could see the two becoming involved with one another would be if Gulga somehow wanted to use Derinogen to gain in-roads with the nobility. He could probably tempt the mage with whatever advances Gulga has made with upgrading otyughs to see if any of that progress could transfer to humans. All in exchange for whatever Gulga might need from such a well-placed aristocrat.
