200 Word Monster ;p

This phrase was used in another post, and it is soooooo right! I started with 257 words and began trimming, choosing new words, consolidating, and rewording ... and I'm down to 218! This is almost HARDER than doing the math and agonizing over the name ...

Ah, well, whine done, back to using the machete.

Ah, well, whine done, back to using the machete.

Why don't you just rewrite the entire piece? Shaving off words will only get you so far, maybe starting anew will give you a cleaner and tighter worded item?

I considered that, but there was able to do it with slight rewording and looking for unnecessary embelishments ::chuckle:: But man, those last three words to find were an interesting challenge :)

Hey, one of last years top 32 was less than 100 :D

Last year, I had a problem with the 200 word limit. This year, not so much. I started with about 160, and beefed it up to 180 even.
