In the store blog at the time of this Message there was a picture of Erik Mona, but when you click the link no further information is available, and I couldn't find an item page.

This leaves a me with a few questions presented below in no particular order.

  • What system is Erik Mona compatible with?

  • Is Erik Mona backwards compatible?

  • What is the cost?

  • Are there also a James Jacobs, F. Wesley Schneider, Lisa Stevens, Jason Bulhman, Cosmo, Joshua J. Frost, Gary Teter and other Paizo employees available to forma a complete set?

  • What services does he provide?

  • Are there more than one Erik Mona available?

  • Is Erik Mona collectible or randomized in any way?

  • Does Erik Mona come with any small parts which may present a health or safety risk to small children or the mentally disabled?

  • Does Erik Mona come personalized in any way?

  • What would the shipping fees on this item be?

Thanks
David Wickham

  • Is Erik Mona anatomically correct?

  • When will it ship?

  • Unfortunately, due to a customs snafu, shipping of Erik Mona will be delayed for approximately two weeks. Since this coincides with the week of Christmas and New Years, it will then be delayed another week. Believe me, this is as much an inconvenience for Paizo as it is for you. Please don't cancel your Paizo Staff Subscription! PLEASE!!!

I'm also curious about the Eric Mona product.

Would I need to buy any accessories to use my Eric Mona? Like an action play set? Batteries? I would hate to get the Eric Mona for a friend or family member and find out it's incomplete or requires special tools for assembly on Christmas day.

Thanks for your help in this matter,
    Guy Humual

How many adventure can he write in a day?

Can he write an adventure for improvised game night?

    How Fast?

Has he a special knack for choosing gaming snacks?

    Can he make handouts?

Do I get my suscriber discount on him?

    Thanks a lot.

I hope he comes with more than one set of clothing...I'm pretty sure i don't have anything that would fit him.

Same here, he looks like a little guy.
I have no problem with the delayed shipping, however. I'll be on my honeymoon and he would just have to sit in a box on the front step. This way, I can read some books on the plane and I can discuss them once I get back.
Also, do we have a choice in hair color? If he came in a slightly darker shade, and with glasses and no facial hair, he'd look like one of my original D&D group members.

Whatever happened to you, Mark L?

    • Is Erik Mona backwards compatible? (assuming 3.0/3.5/PfRPG)

If he doesn't work out, what are the rules for returning a dysfunctional Erik Mona? Do I have to pay the shipping both ways?

Is it a real Erik Mona? Is he litter trained or do we have to litter train him ourself?

Is there a limit to how many we can purchase or are we perhaps all purchasing pieces of one single Erik? If we are purchasing pieces do we get to select which piece at the time of purchase?

Can I have my Erik Mona shipped to arrive with my subscriptions?

Erik Mona is VERY dysfunctional. Have you read his adventures? The guy is an utter psycho!

Do I get a free PDF with my Erik Mona subscription?

Do I have to pay a tax deposit if I order my Mona to México?

Yes but if I can't house train him how much good is he really? I mean I can stuff him with Pizza and Beer and lock him to a word processor for 16 hours a day but cleaning up after him will be a chore onto itself!

Does Mona bring his own library with him? Or do you have to pay extra for the library?

Will Paizo have enough Erik Mona's in stock? That is a valid question. I placed an order for a Mike McArtor and before I could get one, Paizo went out of stock of them. I was very upset. I would prefer to not repeat that incident. ( Especially the part of me complaining to Cosmo about not having what I want and then hearing the sound of his laughter!)

  • This is just another blatant money-grab from those &$$$@%@^%% at Paizo! I fail to understand what was so bad about the old Erik Mona, and why they feel the need to foister off yet another edition! EM3.5 is more than sufficient for all my gaming needs and I refuse to have to re-buy my entire Mona-library!

The EM PF version is compatiable with the EM3.5. It is WotC that is trying to promote the EM4.0 that is NOT compatable with the EM3.5.

Yeah, I see that, but I have most of the stuff from that list that I want.

What I don't have is an Erik Mona. I'm surprised he didn't make the top 5...

Huh-oh. I need to put a hold on mine then. The shipping, that is, just in case Jade feels the need for further innuendo.

I hope not! I'm still waiting on a price and some answers. Although I'm sure this is a great product I'm still hesitant to order until I get some answers back. I too was burned in the Mike McArtor Fire sale . . .

This isn't like those shirts we promised we'd buy that we didn't actually get to buy, though is it? I'd hate to plan on getting Erik Mona and then find that there wasn't enough interest and the print run was cancelled.

    Erik Monas aren't printed...

You see, when a Mr & Mrs Eric Mona's mom and dad love the profit potential created by thier son's fans very much...

So Erik Monas are like Tomagochi then? We buy one. We grow it up (from an egg, mind you). We feed it/poop it/work-it-out/play with it. Then we kill it with neglect/boredom?

Yes, that's a major concern. What if I combine PFRPG and Erik Mona in one shipment? Do I STILL have to pay all those shipping costs?

Please note that Eric Mona prefers loud and disturbing Thrash Metal. Neighbours might complain about it. I doubt that Paizo can be held responsible for any trouble the purchase of an Eric Mona or any of the future Editor-editions might arise. Thank you.

I hear that WotC are going to release a new Erik Mona that's entirely modular.
