Would it make more sense to list feats by the base feat name and tag things like "Improved", "Greater", etc... on at the end so all the feats in a feat line could be found together in the feat descriptions?
Example rather than Weapon Specialization and Greater Weapon Specialization being found pages apart in the feat discription section why not list them as...
Weapon Specialization
Weapon Specialization, Greater
Weapon Specialization, Superior
etc....
Just would save so much time referencing their discriptions.

Great idea. Don't spell names already work like that?

This is something I've been wanting for a long time. There's little argument against the idea in my opinion, since the spells are already ordered this way and show that it works very well.
I'd also like to see the metamagic and item creation feat descriptions grouped together some how. Either by preceding the names, like "Metamagic: Blah Spell", or giving them separate description sections after the regular descriptions. The names are separated in Table 6-1 Feats, so why not in the descriptions as well?

Personally, I can't stand this and didn't like that they did it for 3.5.
If I want to look up greater magic weapon, my brain knows the spell starts with G not M, and forcing me to parse additional info ("this is a modifier to an existing spell, therefore I should look up the original spell") is annoying.
And you're going to miss some, or have confusion issues about where to alphabetize some of them. See limited wish for example.
{I'd go an additional step and compress basically mechanically repeating ones into the Special: block at the end of the feat and save some book real estate for new, non-redundant feats.}
Except chain feats that have a different level prerequisites (Greater Weapon Specialization) make this wonky.

Better than looking up Greater Something under G, read "as Something, except..." and go ahread and look up Something under S, anyway.
Of course, I could live with that if all spells would be written down in their entirety so you wouldn't have to check between several spells.

I agree sinse you will have to look up say Magic Weapon anyway sinse Greater Magic Weapon pretty much just says "as Magic Weapon except as noted above.......". If it had the entire spell discription without reference to the base non-greater version then sure no harm in them being in different sections. But in most cases you would end up looking up two enteries instead of just the one.
