See, what they don't realize is that Celine was just a distraction. The true op was fronted by Pamela Anderson and Natasha Henstridge, followed by Elisha Cuthbert and Keanu Reeves as the boy toy. Bob and Doug successfully lowered any expectation that we could do anything. Now with Ryan Reynolds having brought Scarlett Johansson over to our side, there's no stopping our final ploy - obviously can't reveal the details, but this time next year, BAMMO, Universal Health Care!

Avid:
Hey Avid, Have you ever considered running a bilingual French/English PbP on these boards?
...
I'm asking every French speaker I know as I want in but could never DM one.

That's a great idea. Who would DM it? And we would get to used both languages pretty much as you just did?
(For the record - my ancestors are Canucks. And I used to live on the Rock. Born in the U.S. though.)

ROFL, Jade, you're one of a kind. (For those who wonder - the "Rock" is sometimes slang for Newfoundland. I still have trouble saying differently in spite of the plethora of people who don't use the term.)

I happen to know that Jade loves the maritimes. He won't admit it, but in his heart of hearts he wishes he lived on the Bay of Fundy.
Can't you just see him out there on a fishing boat, leaning over the prow, ears back, fur moistened by the splash of sea water ... good doggy. There's a boy. You see any fish?

S'il avait un PbP français sur le site Paizo, je jouerait un nain (french Dwarf?) qui parlerait en joual Québecois, qui sacre assez souvent aussi. :)
"Moé la, la. Y faut que j'aille pogner c'te bonhomme la!"
Oh sure, because that will help me to improve my french. :-D
I was actually thinking, that we could play it in a language in which two languages were spoken and both could be used. If the game were set in Varisia, then Common (Chelish) = English and Varisian = French. People could move back and forth between the languages like they do in bilingual communities.
Still, we would need a fluent bilingual to DM it.

I love the maritimes, too. They're a bit cold for my Southern blood, but I love them.
EDIT: Must get new screen cleaner. I used up my last wipes cleaning up coffee after laughing at both Jade and Sharoth. (Thanks for that, guys, I needed it.)Seriously, the PbP sounds great.

~grins~ No problem. Just remember to watch out for Heathy. There is something fishy about him. ~WEG~ He tends to flounder the wrong way.

Home of Harbor Harbor and Come By Chance. I love the place.

Well I'm no fisherman, but otherwise you have me pegged to the wall with no hope of wiggle room.
Spent a couple of early years in Cape Cod and have some maritime connections in my family. Ever seen whales making it? I was close enough to play funk bass next to them.
Oh to return to the briny spray! Jenny Haniver, reveal yourself! I wait ever patient atop crags embraced in starfish, setting a pink amyrilis free across the waves in your name.

Huh? Where was I?
