So, I know many of us play WoW. It's been discussed in several threads before and once upon a time we even made a guild over on the Velen server. Alas, that was short-lived because some people couldn't play often or, as was the case in my situation, they had other, more important (and higher level) characters on other servers in other guilds, etc.
SO!
I'm putting out a call to all of those who are NOT committed to other obligations in-game yet. People who are either very new to the game or maybe even people who have been thinking about trying it out but are afraid to because they don't have anyone to play with. We currently have a small but strong presence on the Farstriders server, Horde-side. I play regularly on any one of several characters and myself and 4 friends get together every Tuesday night to run instances. With the Wrath of the Lich King expansion just over the horizon, my time will be somewhat divided between Farstriders and my other major guild on Venture Co. (as I level my Death Knight) but I am sure to spend plenty of time on Farstriders even after the fact.
We don't currently have enough people over there to establish our own guild yet. It requires 10 unique accounts (not characters, otherwise one person could just sign a bunch of alts) to start a guild. We currently have 7 who play with any degree of regularity. If you are new to the game or even just looking for a fresh start on a new server, come to Farstriders and post here with your character name. Remember, we are Horde-side, but since Farstriders is non-PvP, you can have both Alliance and Horde characters on the same server. If the interest is strong enough, we may make Alliance alts and work something out over there too.
My Farstriders characters:
-Mellara, level 46 undead mage
-Alarius, level 18 blood elf paladin
-Ishala, level 19 tauren druid

Would love to see one for the Alliance on Silvermoon...just feel i'm in too many servers as is ands till don't have a lvl 70.

Yeah... I had a toon on the Velen server in the Paizo guild as well. Unfortunately, it just couldn't compete with my two main characters on my "home" server, Hyjal. (non-RP PvE) Being the leader of my guild kinda prevents me from straying too far away, generally.

Have a couple toons on Feathermoon, but nothing I couldn't walk away from. I just got so tired of the whole MMORPG scene after my EQ immersion while I was unemployed for a bit a few years back.

So, erm... I had a change of heart over the weekend. I began to remember why I don't like to level shamans and decided to start over with a human priest (planning to go Shadow to keep up the spellcaster-DPS slot).

Kilrogg is a PvE server, right ?
I am surprised. I would expect roleplayers to chose a RP or RP/PvP server...
Why this choice ?
My answer is "Dunno." Not something I thought about honestly.
Things I learned about WoW on the Holiday Weekend
Falling from the Thandol Span is...interesting.
A 25th level warrior and a 33rd level paladin can duo Deadmines.
Refuge Point in the Arathi Highlands has no inn - keep on truckin' to Southshore.
Stranglethorn is pretty. The fishing is good too.
Creatures with "??" listed as their level should probably be avoided. This goes for players as well.
People like pets. Buy low, sell high on the Auction House.
Having a mount is awesome.
Lilith, I gotta agree with you, Stranglethorne Vale is gorgeous. However, as a person that grew up in Alaska....Winterspring is *IT* for me...wow, all that beatifull snow....

I've started a guild (horde) on Blackwater Raiders...the guild is called Sangre de los Dios...Blood of the Gods...I'm really looking for casual players who enjoy the game and are fun to chat with, look to help each other out, and CONTRIBUTE to the guild!!! If you need a home, contact RUFUZZ !!!!!

Fatespinner, got to agree with you. Over the holiday weekend I was questing around the Howling Fjord and there were times I was just FLOORED by the scenery.
I think the last time I was that impressed was my first time running through Feralas. Going over those sweeping stone bridges between the waterfalls was really something. :)

Yes, Northrend is more beautiful that I thought it would be! But there is a new danger, mobs can come at you from above, so be sure to look up when running around the areas that are vastly higher level than you! At lvl 70, I ran into a lvl 77 zone, I did ok, managed to hold my own agains 1 at a time, but it was still so beautiful!

Heck no. :) The first time I flew over Searing Gorge, I was like "Whoa!"
I also have been enjoying Northrend over all.

I've had the game since it came out and I still haven't even really seen the end game stuff from the original - let alone the expansions. Just can't commit to multiple hours of being in an instance.
I'm rolling my Tauren Hunter Cinderbottom on the Suramar server still. (Wooo, mouthful!)
I like the Northrend stuff, but I must say I like the extra 10 levels and the Acheivement system more! I spend more time running old endgame instaces and raids than I do the new stuff! 4355 acheivement points and counting!
According to a guildie, Im in the top 10 Acheivers on my server...don't know if I feel good or bad about that...
