Post in this thread module ideas you'd love to see:

Event-based module in Mendev surrounding a major battle

Something in Ustalav

Test of the Starstone epic adventure (this might be better off as a one-time mega boxed module like World's Largest Dungeon)

Something in Geb

A wizard adventure where the players are students of Korvosa's Academae.

A three part(or one long adventure) featuring epic levels. Starting in the 19-21 range. Featuring a story which draws retired characters out of retirement.

Liberty's Edge

I wanna see one on the Mars analog.

More High level like epic stuff (to bad it wont fit in the 32 pages)

A 2-module arc for level 19-20 characters.

A psionic module (with an appendix so it can be used without the EPH).

Exploration/settlement of an island, as it would fit nicely with the Clear the Vale adventure and the Heart of Darknessy adventure.

Low level stuff in Ustalav foreshadowing the next return of the Whispering Tyrant.

Some "fight the power" type adventure set in Cheliax.

Scarab Sages

A traditional "rescue-the-princess-from-the-tower" adventure for low-mid levels (i'm thinking 4-7), but with some twists thrown in there, like that the princess is a hag or it's all a trap set up by a young dragon disguised as a princess. that sort of thing.

A series of adventures taking place in an underwater city for the mid-level range.

An arc of 2-3 modules about a wizard accidently blasting the players to a demiplane (obviously for high levels, but not high enough they cna just phaze back).

Maybe a story featuring a sort of love story where the players help a bumbling knight win a maiden, but she ends up falling in love with one of the players when she finds out. and then a duel in town square including an assassin who wants to hedge his bets. (actually, I'm turning this into an adventure regarless)

As I'm not that familiar with the geogrphy of Golarion, I'm not entirely sure where i'd put any of these. Just throwing out some seeds.

A comedy.

Silver Crusade

Just 1 per month is what I'd like to see. I understand that companies can get behind, epically using overseas manfc & such, but I wasn't expecting 2, epically with the Pathfinder Companions coming out every other month.

The gaming budget can handle just so much!!

Actually, a comedy would be pretty refreshing. I concur. hmm, maybe something like the players have to put on a play for children and it keeps getting interrupted by actors from nearby studios, or the playwrite rewriting things as it's being performed so that random people keep barging in, leading to improv "fights", with the impresiionable kids watching and cheering for the "coolest" people. "Ooh! that pirate has a parrot! I hope he beats that monk!" you just have to let the players know that they're all actors. or that they're not sure, but killing in front of children is bad. replace their weapons with padded ones, and it gives prestidigitation a chance to shine.

darn. Another adventure Seed I'll prolly use myself anyway.

A module dealing with the transportation of some goods or important person from Geb to Nex or from Nex to Geb across the Mana Wastes and perhaps involving a retreat from a Sandkraken to the Grand Duchy of Alkenstar...

Actually, going back to one per month instead of one every two months would totally rock.

A comedy would be fun but I imagine hard to do. If done right I would love to see it.

Ones I would personally like to see.

1) Wizard school one. I just think it would be interesting. I blame Harry Potter for this being so popular with my players.

2) More urban adventures heavy on investigation and RPing. Or just set anywhere and heavy on those things. Though i would like to see more urban ones too.

Dark Archive

A few things I would like to see:

Alot more high level adventures would really be nice. If possible in the future Id like to see the adventures return to a monthly schedule.

Another series of adventures within a small local like the Darkmoon Vale stuff would be wicked cool.

Something with Devils and Hellfire...

Something Lovecraftian, because you can never have enough Lovecraft.

Actually somthing I was recently thinking about was a full on mega dungeon and environs like Rob Kuntz's Maure Castle/El Raja Key. While I would like to see a fullcomplete book for this, getting a level or two at a time indiviually would be cool as well.

I don't mind the 6 per year method. It allows the other line & such. I should have said that instead. I was talking about the 2 that are coming out this month (the normal one & the make up one).

Like I said, love what Paizo puts out, but there is just so much cash to devote to game products in a month for me.

I personally cannot imagine a more exciting or more difficult challenge than writing a good, smart, FUN comedic adventure set in Golarion.

Here's hoping that we see one, somewhere down the line!

one of those isn't Paizo's fault it was on the same ship as the pathfinder AP that got held up by customs(the september one). Therefore they waited to pick it up until the adventure path was ready, ensuring that it wasn't sent alone as a September shipment

-Rebels fighting the evil empire (Cheliax)

- high level series part of the starstone deity quest (after you have completed it you are part way to being a deity)

- set against a backdrop of an ongoing large scale war (a bit like Red Hand of Doom, preferably with the characters being part of the army)

- something with a PG rating (rescue the merchants, black and white evil/good) that I can run for my kids.

More Goblins please. I'm not entirely sure what they would be doing but more would be good.

Also, something where the players need to rely more on stealth and skills than on raw killing.

I know... sort of opposite ends of the spectrum *shrug*

Check out LB1, it's a great 'Tom Clancy' module and one of my favorites because of it.

Scarab Sages

I wouldn't mind seeing a "Challenge of Champions" series of modules, like the adventures in dungeon. my players preferred those to most other adventures, and they are surprisingly harder to write (at least for me), and I think it might even be possible to tie it to Pathfinder Society, somehow, like they sponsor it as a friendly contest between groups, and they can post their scores here to see how they rank. or something.

I guess opinions will difer from person to person, and this isnt a slight against you or anyone else, but I really didnt like that series, and I hope Paizo dosent go that way.

It would be great to see one or two Challenge of Champions-style modules. Two of the best moments in my D&D experience are from the Challenge of Champions VI... the first being our kenku player losing his mind in Scenario #9, who jumped on top of the cage and screamed repeatedly "Use the acid to your advantage!" over and over mimicking the moderator's voice after being exasperated by a hint that he had already figured out, and the second being that my group tied for last place with the Dire Duckbunnies.

That's perfectly ok. there's things all of us dislike. in my case: Drow. and I had to cancel my pathfinder Charter subscription for 6 months because the current AP is drow-centric. I know that a lot of people dislike the Challenge series (as was seen in the dungeon threads), but at least if it was done you could just skip one, or end up with one module you don't like instead of missing an entire AP.

I'm not trying to start a fight, I'm just really bored so i figured I'd post.

(btw, to whoever is in charge of titles (probly Gary), if i do resubscribe in 4-5 months, would I get the "Charter" title back since I was one originally? I highly doubt it, but don't ask, don't know.)

Dark Archive

I can understand that. The only reason Im not a superscriber was because at one time the AP map packs and Gamemastery cards were apart of the subscription. I dont think they are anymore, but I told my FLGS that I would buy any non AP or modules stuff Paizo puts out from them. He was pretty pissed when he found out that I had a subscription and he was losing out on the monthly sales.

I cant see any forseeable reason of why I might cancel my AP subscription (except for maybe finacial reasons or I quit the hobby altogether). The thing with APs is their fun to read, and you can always grab stuff for your own game if you want.

The modules however have been pretty good for the most part an even if an occasioanl one isnt that great of of a major interest to me I'll let it slid. However, if a series of modules was promised to come out every 3 adventures or so I would probably stop my subscription and pick and choose the ones I wanted from my FLGS.

I'd really love to see an adventure like the original Castle Amber set in Golarion. Possibly with revolving around the Odeber Family (Pathfinder Chronicles Campaign Setting page 199).

I will need to think about this a little longer, however one think that comes to mind immedietly is something along the lines of Foundation of Flame. In 25+ years of DMing/gaming I have never seen the likes of this. The save the city from a volcano was the bomb!

Dark Archive Owner - Johnny Scott Comics and Games

Current Golarion Chronology suggestions:

-Exploring what really happened to Aroden.

-Discovering the source of the Eye.

-Anything dealing with the Fey.

-Murder mystery involving the werewolves in Darkmoon Vale.

-Uniting the Mwangi tribes against a common threat.

-Travel to another world using the portals.

Adventure paths set in the past, such as:

-Squaring off with Tar Baphon before he became a lich.

-Squaring off with Tar Baphon before he was imprisoned.

-Taking part in the first Crusade at the WorldWound.

-An adventure path set in Azlant.

-An attempt to broker peace between Nex and Geb.

-Defending against the Night of the Silver Fangs (or whatever the werewolf siege was called - I can't remember off the top of my head).

Shadow Lodge

I'd like to see some adventures for 1 or 2 players, plus GM. My group has become inconsistent, so we're left minus one or two players. I could beef-up the players to meet the CR, but that's less entertaining.

I would love to see a module set in Numeria! Really cool stuff there!!

The Exchange

Something set along western Garund. The Sodden Lands, the Shackles, Sargava. The Eye of Abendego needs victims!

I think I might be able to answer your question. I had a subscription to the Dragon and to Dungeon magazines when WotC pulled the plug so I transitioned to the Pathfinder AP's. However, I let my subscription run out for a few months (I think 5 or 6). When I signed back up as a subscriber I was informed that I could not be classified as a Charter Subscriber because my subscription had expired.

I do not know whether you are in the same situation as I was but that was the information that I received. You might try going to the Customer Service area and posting your question there.

I hope this helps.

Comedy is hard. Great idea!

Sovereign Court

I'd like something involving the land of the Mammoth lords.

Also, adventures dealing with political intrigues in Taldor, including murder parties (well normal parties there):)

I'd also like to see some Al-Qadim like stuff in qadira.

A Funny thing Happened on the Way to Taldor would be fun

Liberty's Edge

Comedy

Comedy comes from things that will make the players laugh and that is hard.

My idea.

Rescue the Sloopy.

Sloopy are an extra planner creature that are white round and have two leggs and a large set of eyes.

They act as a filter between the world and the underworld. They catch souls of insignificant creatures that would otherwise flood the underwold with excess of soul energy. Think about what would happen if the souls of every ant, weevil, bug and fly started to fill the underworld.

One of Hell's high inquisitors has a son who one day decided to play a prank and accidentally unleashed a flood of raw hell fire near the soul veil. The explosion tore a rift into the realm of the Sloopy and all the creatures were sucked through.

The players are 'invited' to go into hell and round up the happless creatures before they are destroyed.

The effects of the Abyss has strange effects on the sloopy.

Some are cursed and a couple become Vampiric :) (Imagine a white blooby thing with evil intent big eyes and fangs. I'm just saying.)

The chaos that it could cause would be legendary. The potential would be wonderful.

Even better if the Sloopy have an effect on the Demons and Devils similar to THC so that the players discover very chilled out easily distracted but ravenously hungry Demons.

Vote Rescue the Sloopy as the next pathfinder module.

Something in Ustalav

Test of the Starstone epic adventure (this might be better off as a one-time mega boxed module like World's Largest Dungeon)

* I like the idea of a Horror story set in Ustalav (maybe next October for Halloween?). Actually this brings up another idea. Why not have an Annual Halloween Module in October that is Horror Themed. Obviously there are other Holidays throughout the year, but to me Halloween seems to be the perfect opportunity for that Annual Themed Module.

* I also like the Test of the Starstone idea. Maybe not a "Boxed Set", but definately what could be termed a Mega Adventure. Maybe a Double-sized (64 pages) Anniversary Module or something like that.

* Something set on the Isle of Jalmeray.

* A mission for either Nex or Geb (or both) into the Mana Wastes. The story could have different goals for the party based on whether they are working for Nex or Geb. It could possibly include a trip to Alkenstar (or even start from there, with Emmisaries from both Nations approaching the party.

* An Adventure set in or around The Shackles and/or The Sodden Lands. Possibly a Pirate Hunt?

* An Underwater Adventure, taking PCs on a search for Ancient Azlant.

* A one off Module (or possibly one with a sequal) dealing with one or more of the Runelords. This could be the High Level Module that people have been asking for.

* An adventure starting out from Valenhall (or one of the other Outposts on Arcadia) and exploring the area as a bit of an Introduction to Arcadia. This could tie-in with either a Pathfinder Chronicles and/or Companion detailing Arcadia (like the Dragon tie-in articles using AP material from Dungeon).

I'm sure I could think up many more ideas, but it's late and I'm tired.

Seconded. Numeria would be very interesting - its flavor differs from the usual fantasy stuff and yet it bears a certain conanesc note.

A sequel to Bloodsworn Vale.

A put-down of another runelord, perhaps Alaznist. Perhaps an epic level put-down, though I'd prefer an epic Test of the Starstone, even though I know that'll never happen. :-(

The PCs perform an assassination in Taldor or Cheliax, and spend the rest of the adventure trying to escape or avoid incrimination. Or perhaps they're just fall guys or bystanders who will be blamed, and must find the real killer for revenge, or to clear their names, while avoiding capture.

A psionic jaunt on Castrovel.

By way of introduction to Tian Sha, an homage to Dragon Gate Inn, perhaps set on or near the Crown of the World.

A Golarion remix of Earth literature that involves water, and not Heart of Darkness. Perhaps A Tale of Two Cities or The Scarlet Pimpernel type affair in Galt or the River Kingdoms.

A missionary mission to Rahadoum that runs afoul of divine agents of an enemy religion. Since Kyra is a cleric of Sarenrae, this could be an excuse for some Spawn of Rovagug/Kaiju action.

Some form of iconic star-and-supporting-cast or fan service, like a quest to find a special mount for Seelah, or a vengeful homecoming for Amiri (probably also featuring Seltiel, Lini, and Merisiel). Perhaps Seelah could go looking for one of the giant Castrovel lizards, and combine it with the token psionic module. This concept could also work for the Rahadoum suggestion, for Kyra, I guess.

Ezren, Seoni, Lem, and Sajan vs. a bunch of riddles and puzzles. Perhaps on Jalmeray. With hypercubes. And maybe a wumpus hunt.

Another couple to add to the mix:

* The Isle of Terror has abig Neon Sign above it that reads "Adventure Module Waiting to Happen"!

* Hunting Impossible Creatuers in The Realm of the Mammoth Lords.

* An adventure involving the Crashed Cosmic Vessel in Numeria.

* A High Level Adventure centring around Lastwall and Tar-Baphon.

A reference to my request for no more reruns of Heart of Darkness, above. I liked the book, and River Into Darkness, Rana Mor, and Zenith Trajectory, but I think I've hit my limit, is all I'm saying.

My first and second choices, as mentioned, would be a comedy and a settle a new continent style of adventure (with all the moral dilemmas and use of Profession: Farmer that such a story would entail).

Third on my list, however, would be to have the PCs be running a revolution in a Cheliax town, hoping to tip the town (and the region) towards Andoran control. Give me a nice espionage and political module, if I can't have me some bedroom farce or Roanoke!

"The Horror!"

"The Horror!"

I did start chuckling during 'Zenith Trajectory'. I don't know if any of the other players got it, even the DM, but after chatting with the crazy frog-man, I did ask 'So, is he Dennis Hopper?'.
