OK, I'm gonna relate a Dream I had a couple of weeks a go that has been running around in my head.
Weird Sh!t...

Scarab Sages RPG Superstar 2009 Top 32

Woman in a plain grey skirt suit walks up to the door of a crappy looking house and knocks.
Door opens after a while to reveal a dirty guy with a beer belly standing there in boxers and a singlet. He scratches himself in the crotch and says "wada ya want".
The woman looks at him, offers him a flyer and says, "hi, I'm Pam Iomedae. May I ask your name sir? "
"Name's Cal Cailean, what's it to ya?"
"Are you a religious man sir? I'm here from the Church to ask you a few questions?"
The guy hocks up a loogy and spits it off to the side. "Only think I worship is beer and smokes luv."
A woman appears behind the man, dressed in a Red PVC Corset and Panties, with chunky heels. She is slipping on a black coat. As she passes the man, she holds out her hand and h reaches into his waistband and pulls out some notes, slipping them into her hand. She licks her lips seductively at the woman in the suit and walks off down the path. The amn gives a whistle as he wtches her go and says to Pam, "oooeee that Crystal Calistria is one fine piece 'o ass that's for sure."
Pam's mouth is opening and closing with a dumbfounded look on her face at this point.
Off behind the chain link fence to the back yard something can be heard running towards the pair. It hits the fence at full tilt and rebounds back. It is the ugliest looking dog you've ever see, the size a great dane but the face of a messed up bulldog. It immediately starts to bark and growl at Pam and she backs up a step.
"Shat the hell up Rovergug", yells Cal menacingly.

And that's as far as I got before I was woken by my 2 year old yelling "wake up daddy"!

Thoughts anyone???

Grand Lodge

Dude, that is hilarious and totally messed up.

Liberty's Edge

f$!*!
i would complain... but its hillarius (Pam Iomedae, damn i loved it)

yes... pretty freaking weird both cool

i suppose you haveplayed enough Pathfidner if you get to see its gods in your dreams inw ays... i am not sure they could be expected...

PS: I just love Iomedae... but aye... i could imagine my cleric of Iomedae gaping like that when she meets her grandmother (elvel cleric of Calistra)

My advice, eat less cheese before bed time.

Dark Archive

Wow ... funnier than sh**, though.

Good Advice. Also, don't have gravy beforehand.

flash: Where was Urgathoa? Or does Vykos' allegiance have no place in your dreams? ;)

Montalve: My daughter actually, she's almost as good as an alarm clock. =) My son is only 8 months old, so he just goes da da da da and cries for me to come and get him. ;)

Jal: I think I am glad that I didn't get to Urgathoa. Although I'm thinking Desna might have been good to see.

Because I have remembered it so clearly, I'm hoping it's one of those handful of Dreams that I have had multiple times. Maybe then we'll get to see who else pops in for a visit. =D

freaky!

Heh... Love the Calistria bit. Cailean always seemed to me like the guy who fell into manure and came up smelling like a rose. I mean, accidentally becoming the god of partying? C'mon, that's like winning the lottery from a ticket you picked up blowing in the parking lot.

Liberty's Edge

hehe dont eat the chili.

;)

sorry, my mistake :P

but i always felt like Iomedae would be a police officer giving you a ticket or asking about some current investigation more than just preaching :P of course that is how i play my cleric (Sense Motive +11 at 2nd level FTW)

yeah, that sounds like him

Ida thought that Cayl Cailean (forgot how it's spelled) would be more hot... seeing as Desna has a thing for him... Anyone read American Gods (by Neil Gaiman)? It's a great book and a lot like the situation flash described.

Actually, he's got a thing for her.

Absolutely freaking awesome!

My wife bought me some Chilli Cheese yesterday. Haven't tried it yet.

Maybe that will bring on Lamashtu & Urgathoa. ;)

My question now is: what sort of dreams does Vykos have?

Liberty's Edge

Well, according to Pathfinder #14: Children of the Void, I was right. Cayden is dashing and does not have a beer-belly (at least in all the pictures). And Desna does admire his free spirit...
I want to hear about Urgathoa. Eat lots of chili!

Gark the Goblin wrote:

That doesn't mean she has a thing for him.

For example, I admire the Paizo stuff for their works, but I don't have man-crushes on Jason and James and the others.

Okay, I admit, I do. But I'm hardly representative! ;-)

Didn't you read about his dream in the RHoD Thread?

He was riding a Skeletal Horse, being flanked by a couple of Zombie Guards and loving it!

Now he just needs to find a way to make Reaper Skeletal permanently...

Now we're talking - Chilli Cheese and Lamashtu & Urgathoa... sounds like the deli order from hell :)

Liberty's Edge

Fine, she doesn't have a thing for him... doesn't mean they haven't gotten hot and bothered in some demiplane...
And James is mine! ;)

Demiplane of Hanky-Pankies. Only demiplane with a revolving Gate and spells that have material components that must be paid by the hour.

I'm a little disappointed I never had a follow up to this dream. I would have liked to see how it played out. :(

lol! I'd love it if they could play, but they're 4 and 2 (and the 2 year old is a non-stop bundle of energy) so it would be a little bit of a handful to bring them along. :)

Oh well, I guess there's always play-by-post.

(Just gotta figure out how to give out the chronicle sheets at the end.)

I wanted to read more about the dream. What ended up happening? Was interesting.
