As soon as the website supports a player search database, threads like this will grow obsolete. But until then...

Why not? ;-) If you are willing to host a german or english D&D session if someone in this thread happens to visit Paris... *joking*
Maybe as a side effect this thread (if growing long enough) will encourage a quicker translation of PF to german...
I'll refresh the thread over at "website feed back" requesting a player data base. Something like this in db form could be very neat. :-)

Yes, it would. :-) And I certainly didn't intend to discriminate anyone!!
But it would certainly make this thread burst. :(On the other hand I hope that the upgrade of the site hinted at will offer some kind of data base that could contain this kind of information:
A possibility to find out which other message board members live in your area, or speak the same native language, or happen to live on the same continent... ;-) [... plays the same favourite games, likes the same music a.s.f.]
Maybe in the meantime other threads (for each native language of posters) could be some kind of interim solution? E.g. a thread for english/ irish members (not restricted to citizens of these countries and in which everyone feeling close to the UK and Ireland could contribute?) If someone comes up with other ideas: just post it!

Gary posted here that the new game connection functionality will contain location information of gamers!

I didn't realise we Saarlänna were that many here. I'm also from the St. Wendler Land (Gemeinde Tholey), but will move to Saarbrücken soon.

I guess because he wants to see how many German speakers we have hear - though many French would qualify for that, especially near the border. (I remember a friend of mine nearly killing himself trying to get some frying sausage in a LeClerk, utilising his school French, only to have the clerk remply, after about 2 minutes: "Ach, weißwürste suchen Sie, die sind da hinten in der Kühltheke". He nearly had a heart attack and we were in tears with laughter.

We have to show it to Ulisses (The DSA guys), then - they're handling the translation (and are supposed to be working on the beta)

OK, it took me three days to gather my jaw from the floor after seeing that. Excuse for the following Polish blurb !
Mieszkam na ulicy Krancowej, kolo Malty. Gram regularnie - ja prowadze RotRL, koledzy inne systemy (Ars Magica, Call of Cthulhu). Mamy grupke okolo 10 graczy.
