I have looked over the Pathfinder Beta, and I like every single change I have seen. So, I am obviously interested in picking this up in the future. But, is there any type of monster manual for this? (already out, or planned for the future) I have not seen one in the products section, and a few of the changes **cough*** DR **cough** are big enough that a Pathfinder monster book is needed.
Thanks,
Eric

I think the monsters will be in the Final version.
Monsters will NOT be in the final version. Monsters will appear in a separate (not-yet-announced) monster product(s).
In the meanwhile, use the Pathfinder Beta rules with the current 3.5 Monster Manual (if you have one), the D20 SRD (if you don't), the Bestiary in the back of each Pathfinder Adventure Path, or other monster sourcebooks.
I think a MM replacement would be one of the first products Paizo turn their attention to, as soon as the Pathfinder RPG hardcover is off their desk.

My mistake.

This will be a good and much needed thing.
Not just due to certain changes, but due to the fact that there will need to be a supportive Monster product of sorts for Pathfinder down the road.
Let's face it, right now most of us have our Monster Manuals and can probably get a new or used 3.5 (or if we have to, 3.0) copy for a reasonable price online. However, as the years go by, these will not be as easily available (and possibly not as cheap)....
Looking in a most positive and now potentially very realistic light, Pathfinder could very well become a standard in roleplaying for years to come.... in as much as GURPS, Vampire TM, etc. became standards alongside D&D. I'm not going to get into the debate as to whether Pathfinder will ultimately surpass and replace whatever current D&D variant might exist down the road, but I will say that Pathfinder now holds a very, very strong chance of making a permanent nitch for itself... which is fine with me as saying "do you want to play Pathfinder this weekend?" has become just as easy and now as common for me to say as "do you want to play D&D?"
With this in mind, Pathfinder is going to need its own supporting monster product.... even if Pathfinder keeps a steady gaming interest as modest as a mere 15,000 customers or more for several years, that is still too many to ask for them to rely on an out of print book from another game company for their monsters. The addition of a "monster manual" is a natural need in the evolution of this important gaming product.
... and personally, I can't wait! :)
Oh, I do realize that a few old favorites might honestly be heavily changed or go altogether... of course, a toothy single eye orb is a fairly generic concept, as a squid headed evil humanoid, but six legged panthers with tentacles might just be a bit too obvious...
But I'm willing to accept that. I think that naturally, above all, we need to at least have the classic mythological monsters represented, and it would be nice to have a few otherwise overlooked ones, including a standard hill giant like cyclops.

Although there hasn't been an official announcement, I'm guessing (and hoping) that Paizo will publish some sort of Monster Manual be the end of 2009.
As it is, although I know that they have announced that there are no plans to do this, I would love to see even just 20 pages or so of monsters in the core book... all of them below CR 5 and most of them having obvious usefulness (kobold, orc, goblin... maybe some humans, etc.)
