On the matter of Neutrality

I'm not sure if this really needs to be discussed or not, but for those so inclined here you go if that is your wish.

That was an episode.

You are with the Commonwealth or against it (Hegemonist filth!). Neutrality is a selfish attempt at betraying the Commonwealth without being plundered by the Culture of Hegemony that opposes it...feel free to shoot everyone in no-mans-land.

I am not neutral. I am just a natural flip-flopper.

I remain neutral untill I have the strength of arms to crush those who would oppose me. But then again, aren't most people like that?

I'd like to post on this, but I can't seem to find a side to support.

Let me be very clear on this: I have never indicated my support for, or my position against, the topic of neutrality.

He's trying to avoid drowning in the quagmire! Get him!

I don't know, I could go either way.

Let's agree that everyone is the same, and that everyone is special. let's not rush to value judgements and we can all try to exist at the same common denominator in perfect harmony.

I can see all sides on this issue, and support each of them equally.

Neutrals are much easier to find matches for. It's the primaries that are tough to find coordinating accessories for.

They're easier to push start if they're in neutral.

Why Neutral is the best- You don't have to argue with anyone. Unless you want to.

So my naps are unstoppable? I feel so empowered. :)

I VERY STRONGLY HAVE NO OPINION ON THIS TOPIC WHATSOEVER!

If you eat a lot of swiss cheese; do you become more neutral?

I dunno ... that theory has a few holes in it.

EDIT: What? Someone *had* to say it.

Thank you! I'll be here all week.

Tip your waitress!

Maybe neutral people have just smoked too much weed to care about anything. Neutral Stoned = True Neutral.

I have no opinion on this thread one way or the other.

Neutrality is a matter of perspective, although it's a good idea to share the same perspective as the manufacturer of an electrical appliance when you happen to be wiring a plug. (UK joke; we have 'live', 'earth', and 'neutral' wires here on many appliances).

Another thought:
Neutrality is easy when the alternative is to lose all the time.

I decided awhile back to treat all PCs and NPCs as if they were true neutral for the purposes of game rules that reference alignment, regardless of what alignment they say they are.

Sadly, Neutrality is frowned upon by much of the Paizo.com forum, due to its association with the "B-Word". Paraphrasing Gorbacz, some members of the Paizo fan community have decreed that b*@lance=wuxia anime=MMO=munchkin=4e=Hitler=dead kittens. Thus, the ba&nce word causes somewhat of a frenzy among the forumites, as does anything that might be associated with it, such as Neutrality.

However, as a dragon, I am not bound by the petty laws of cursed hungry bags, thus, I am safe in saying that with my house rules,
I have restored Neutrality, and Balance, to the cosmos!

My only opinion on this thread is that it is yet another sad reminder of Mikaze's continued absence. :(

Mikaze is around. Somewhere. Likely working.

I can go either of four ways on the subject.

What makes a man turn neutral...

Lust for gold? Power? Or were they just born with a heart full of neutrality?

I hate these filthy neutrals. With enemies you know where you stand, but with neutrals? Who knows!

It sickens me.
