I couldn't find a really well-suited spot to post this, since it's kind of unique.
During the writer's strike that happened last year, Joss Whedon decided to write and produce a short film in three acts about a super villain and then put it up on the web for about a week, then sell it on DVD. Also, it's a musical.
The first two acts are up as of me writing this, and it's an absolutely fantastically funny show. I'm sad that it's only three acts. I digress, go here and watch it.

Well, even if you don't want to buy it, you can download it for free off of iTunes until the 20th of this month.
EDIT: Also, you can watch all that's released so far on the link I put in the first post. The worst that can happen if you watch it is you'll like it.
Its not free on iTunes. Its $1.99 per episode or $3.99 for the whole shebang. And yes, its worth it.

Oh, well then. My mistake. The site didn't say anything about pricing and I refuse to use iTunes, so I just assumed.
And we all know what that does.

There is a free Flash version on the site though, and as Hammith said, it'll be there up until Sunday at which point it will vanish. Best idea is to watch it this Saturday when the final part comes up (the whole thing will come to between 30 and 45 minutes I imagine, unless Act Three is longer than the other two), then decide if you want to pay cash monies for rewatching in the future, I know I will, the first two parts are awesome, and have my entire house singing :D... well... I'll be buying it once the DVD comes out, since I refuse to use iTunes, and it isn't available on UK iTunes anyway...
There's also a silly little free comic

I caught this on Sunday and watched all three parts and LOVED IT! Apparently, they are going to do a singing commentary for one of the commentary tracks when it goes on dvd. WOW! Great work all around. The three-part melodies with intertwining storylines in the songs are AMAZING and FUN!
The free link is dead for now...so, bummer for those that missed it but find it on dvd when released.

"We do the weird stuff."
Was one of that trio of singers Scarlett Johannsen? Probably just a dream on my part, but I swear it was her.
No Scarlett, but one of the singers was the dude from the Mike's Hard Lemonade commercials who gets abused by his co-workers for inventing Mike's Hard Soy Lemonade.

For anyone who missed out on the Awesomeness of Dr Horrible, Hulu is hosting it for free with Whedon's permission. From DoctorHorrible.net (The official Fan Site):
You can watch Dr Horrible’s Sing Along Blog online once again for free via Hulu. This IS still available to those who are outside the USA.
… Point being, HULU hosted Dr. Horrible for free for a week, which we, the mushortio-makers, are forever grateful for, and now you can stream it for free on their site. How awesome is that? I know, you’re humbled. Stop groveling. Just remember: the more you watch it, the more you will understand about life and the universe and hydroponics. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry…. and you just might learn long division. With songs! PLEASE watch it. We’re so lonely… –Joss Whedon

For those that haven't had a chance to see this yet, you can view it here.
I have to say, I really enjoyed it. The ending is poignant and gripping, and I think it all comes together really well.
In short: Best. Villain. Origin. Ever.

It wasn't until recently (as a result of watching [b]The Guild, that I heard about this.
Having finally watched it on DVD, it is the most amazingly funny thing ever (Who knew that Nathan Fillion could be so funny!)

Dr. Horrible was awesome, because it was short. (Joss Whedon's bad fan-fic writing tendencies did not have time to take root.)
I fear that any sequel will be disappointment.
