What spell should be used on an annoying fly?

There is this annoying fly that keeps buzzing around my basement office.

What spell should I use to get rid of it?

Small bother, small spell...I'd say acid splash. Of course, if you miss you're liable to damage something in the office. Web would be appropriate, if a bit of overkill.

Hits every time, 'specially against such a small target.
Depending on your level though it's probably a bit of overkill, but you might be able to target an annoying neighbour as well if you can see him through a window. ;)

Except now you have an invisible thing running around your basement trying to smash a fly and inadvertently wrecking your stuff.

Also it's not allowed an attack roll and can't do anything with a DC higher than ten. Killing a fly has got to be higher.

I'm afraid I have to agree with Flash: Magic Missile.

Well I've been told my music sucks, no one ever calls, and if someone yelled fire I'd probably just shrug and go back to what I was doing.

Empowered Blistering Fiery Fireball. In case it has PC levels.....
Vampiric touch if you are nimble enough.
Fire shield and just run after him hoping to get close enough.
Wait til he lands on you and then use your immediate action to cast Electric Vengence........become one with your inner bug-zapper.....
