Thelix Moody |

Thelix is standing in line waiting for a hot Oliphnant Ear. Once he has finished his noon meal, he plans on purchasing the necessary supplies for the Forge, and returning to the Forge, to work for a couple of hours. There is a meeting of the Cult of Gorum tonight, and he must be prepared to perform a blessing.

Berel Zenderholm |

Berel had moved to the marketplace, having decided that too much free time was a really good way to get himself occupied with exactly the wrong things. So he moved across the market slowly, keeping an eye out for any indication of someone in need.
Also, getting an apple or two for lunch was a good idea. He was growing hungry, after all.

Inros Har |

Today is Inros' 18th birthday. As he does most days, he starts off going to the market where his younger cousin Tara disappeared almost two years ago. But he has another purpose today. He is going to spend the gold he has been saving. Inros decided he needs more than just his bow from his days up-river. He needs much more if he is to find, and deal with, the man called Lamm. The man who he believes kidnapped Tara.
Inros lives above his uncle's shop, in the Highbridge ward of Midland. There he shares a room with his older cousin Heath. Inros cannot wait to move out on his own, but he just does not know what he wants to do with his life. At least, he does not know what he wants to do after he finally finds his young, missing cousin, Tara.
The above is copied from the discussion thread. Sorry, didn't see this thread until just now.

Thelix Moody |

Thelix's heart begins to hammer as he reads the note. Could this be his chance for revenge...or has Lamm finally tracked him down, and this is his chance to kidnap him again?...Wait, he is a grown man now, and this might be a chance for him to right a wrong committed. Its worth a shot anyway.
Thelix dashes down the stairs, his excitement building as Lamm's wicked sneer replays itself in his memory. He grabs his hat and cloak off the rack, shouting to his father as he runs out the door. "Dad!, Dad!, can you run the service tonight?...I have a very important meeting to attend" Without waiting for an answer Thelix dashes out the door slamming it behind him.
He is halfway down the block when the thought occurs to him that if this is indeed a trick, he shouldn't go unarmed. Thelix runs back home and sheepishly asks his father if he can run the service tonight. After the old Dwarf agrees, Thelix grabs his walking stick (Cudgel)and holy symbol, and more sedately heads towards the address on the note, wondering if he can make it there by the appointed time, without hailing a ride.

Can he use his Knowledge-Arcana to get what "The Foreign Trader" card is about?

Berel Zenderholm |

For the DM
And what was the worst that could happen? Him walking away from an unpalatable offer. Still there was a little time before sunset, and so he he took his armor from the training dummy that served as a stand when he was not using it. After an intense bout of training, he quickly washed off the sweat, before making his way to the indicated address.
Whoever had send this card, and how this person came to know of his history with the man, he did not quite know. But he'd probably find out soon enough.

Inros Har |

for Zoom:
After reading the card, I quickly look around the room, the hairs on the back of my neck standing straight out. I ask around the shop if anyone unusual was around today.
I am too excited to rest now. May I actually be getting somewhere in my search for Tara? I cannot hide my impatience as I wait for sunset. Who will I meet? How do they know about Tara? What do they know about Tara? Will today be the day I save her? Will today be the day I punish Lamm for what he has done to Tara and my family?
I decide to leave a few hours before sunset, as to minimize questions from my family. I better bring my bow and new sword today. Might I need them tonight? Do I actually hope I need them tonight?
As sunset approaches, I make my way to Lancet Street. Ready for what may come next.

Allarion the Urban Druid |

Allarion turns the card over, muttering. Clearly he's lost his prey, but this new twist of fate? Could it be the sign he's waiting for? He pockets the card, checks the time and heads toward the rendezvous.

Sun Fei left her mother's house over on the South Shore early in the morning before the sun had crested the horizon. Her morning mediation completed to the fine sandlewood scents, her mind is clear on her path today ~ to follow the lead she recently unearthed regarding Lamm and the dream spider drugs that flow into the hands of Korvosan youth.

For Berel
The cozy chamber within this small home is filled
with a fragrant haze of flowers and strong spice.
The haze comes from several sticks of incense
smouldering in wall-mounted burners that look
like butterfly-winged elves. The smoke itself seems
to soften edges and gives the room a dream-like feel.
The walls are draped with brocaded tapestries,
one showing a black-skulled beast juggling
men’s hearts, another showing a pair of angels
dancing atop a snow-blasted mountain. A third
tapestry on the far wall depicts a tall hooded figure
shrouded in mist, a flaming sword held in a skeletal
hand. Several brightly-colored rugs cover the floor,
but the room’s only furnishings are a wooden table covered by
a bright red throwcloth and several elegant tall-backed chairs. A
basket covered by blue cloth sits under the table.

Outside the house is four gentlemen standing at the entrance of the cards address. They are looking at each other and one dressed in chainmail and wearing an holy symbol of Gorum you all recognize say to the group, "Fine evening isn't it"? Another gentleman wearing leathers at the same time says, "Who sent me the card? What do you know of Lamm?" And also at the same time another gentleman in leathers asks the man in the chainshirt with the greatsword dressed in other finery, he seems to be well to do, if he belongs to the house or was he summoned here also? As he asks his question he is showing you a harrow card with a cricket on it! You all see an exotic female appoarching also!
Go ahead and start roleplaying with each other as you see fit! State your actions!

Berel Zenderholm |

Berel looked at the group as it gathered, a bit surprised by the size. It seemed the old fiend had quite a few more enemies than he had expected. Smiling over his carefully maintained five days stubble, he took a good look at each of them. "Forgive me to assume, but i would like to think this group is here for the same reason i have come?"
He slipped his Harrow card between his fingers, which he had kept in one of the pockets of his obviously custom-fitted pants. Raising his hand, he displayed it to the others, much like the man with the cricket card had done. His displayed a paladin.

Thelix Moody |

"It does seem indeed, that we are here on the same purpose" Thelix says showing his Harrow card with the displayed Owl.
"May I see your card for a moment"? He asks the gentleman closest to him. He then takes a moment to inspect the cards to see if the writing is in the same hand.

Inros Har |

"If this were a trap, why invite us all at the same time? Easier to pick off enemies one at a time. And I only have one enemy...Lamm."
After the holy man knocks on the door, my posture stiffens and I place a hand on the hilt of my sword.
"Not one to dawdle?" I ask him with a grin, and I turn to face the door, waiting to see who answers.

Stray Hal |
"If this were a trap, why invite us all at the same time? Easier to pick off enemies one at a time. And I only have one enemy...Lamm."
"Good point. On the other hand, he might want to try to kill us all off at once."
Are there windows on this building? Are there any other people in the area who can see us?

Berel Zenderholm |

Berel sighed. "A trap... hmm, i had not thought of that. But i suppose it would make more sense for him to go after his enemies one by one - but i would not put that beyond him. He seemed to genuinely enjoy his detestable acts." Such ideas, traps and tricks usually took some pointing out to him.
