Greeting all.
Hail the Pathfinder Project!
Question. Does anyone know if there has been clarification on whether domain abilities or specialist powers would stack with the bonus spellcasting levels afforded by prestige classes?
My thought, initially, is no as it seems that these new powers are part of the effort to make the base classes playable up to 20th level, but I so far haven't seen clarification on this, and wanted to know if anyone out there did.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers

They're based on caster level, so there's no reason you don't continue to get them if you take a prestige class that continues to increases it.
Thanks for chiming in. It was what I suspected, but it seemed to cut against the grain of "a reason to play the base classes up to 20th level" so it was worth asking others.

Since they replace the domain abilities for cleric's I would definitely say for them they advance, with that argument in place, I would say the same for the wizard as well.

Any official clarifications from Jason?
It's written cleric level in classes chapter, and caster level in magic chapter. In 3.5 some powers are based on cleric level, so it's ambiguous.
