There is an excellent chance for future monster books, but those will be handled seperately.
Chance? Id say a guarantee.
If the Pathfinder RPG needs to be made to replace the out of print PHB and DMG...
I guess we'd need a Pathfinder Monster book with stats for all the SRD monsters to replace the MM.
I'm REALLY looking foward to that one just for all the art and getting to see how the re-imagined monsters look. :)

I speak in disclaimers sometimes.
Probably a terrible habit. Maybe.

It has been mentioned, but not exactly confirmed, thus not official, that there is support for the interest of a book of monsters, in which "monsters" we mean encounters and quite likely, but not exactly set in stone, creatures of a mundane, bizarre, or supernatural nature. Note: This could also, perhaps, mean non-creature like humanoids, but our legal department has not advised a clear issue of confirmation or rejection at this time.Such an "interest" (as casually, not legally, referred) is possibly, though not definitely, due to the result of a common, unsupported, public domain view that there might be a possible, proposed end to continued printing and commercial support of a certain but not exactly mentioned book, or shall we legally say... manual (disclaimer: we did not exactly say "manual", we merely hinted) of "monsters" from a certain focus of an undisclosed editions or editions. With this in mind, one may or may not feel the need that such a previously mentioned, undisclosed book, might need a possible, store shelf ready successor.
No claims, validation, or support from any parties, corporate or otherwise, have been made towards the above information.

The reason I ask is that I really would like to have one source to reference than multiple sources.
I agree!
Having the new Pathfinder Handbook be a fusion of the PHB & DMG would definitely be more ideal, especially with all the streamlining going on in gaming these days... just seems to make sense to me!In regards to a future Pathfinder Monster Manual... well, we'll deal with that issue later! :P

This, may or may not, be the perhaps the most pleasurable thing I have read in the last hour or so, give or take fifty-three minutes!
