It's kind of weird that you thought of Chris Elliot. I don't really see it, beyond maybe thinking of "Cabin Boy". Hey, it's your brain. After seeing Brick, I kind of think of Isaac as an older Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
And I highly recommend Brick if you're into noir.
I've been out the last 2 weeks with spinal bacterial menangitis. Will post soon if it's ok.

Hey guys, spent the last 2 days driving from New York to Kanasas. My wife's mom is dying. I'll post when I can just to get my mind on something else.

We have suffered some slight attrition with the disappearance of Swift/Kayos and Eir/Kruelaid. I know that Eir/Kruelaid will not be coming back anytime soon, and I am not sure what happened to Kayos. I am wondering if I should recruit a few new players to the game. Any opinons?
Think I have a cleric lined up. Maybe one more? FabesMinis has expressed some interest back last time we recruited ...
I think a fighter type, since even our resident fighter's actually a duskblade.

I'm not sure, her main handle has a last post of 7/10. I think either way with the infrequent posting style, if she wants to do a solo thing or something I'll just run Swift on her own on a side jaunt if she is still interested. YOU OUT THERE KAYOS?.
I think we need to replace her spot. Does anyone game with FabesMinis anywhere else? If you do, ask him if he was still interested in making that literary quotildian Xaositect he had mentioned. Preferably a Xaositect who can slice things up.

Yes a healer is always welcome, especially to those of us with glass jaws! :) And a bigger meatshield,... er,... FIGHTER is always good too! But we don't seem to have much trouble dealing out the damage so far,... Of course I don't know what you have planned, but I'm sure it involves a suitable amount of pain.
I don;t really mind either way. I'll go with the group. (Having Fabes involved always seems to be fun!) :)
