Say something nice to someone else in the Paizo community.

If you have something nice said about you, you are 'it' and should say something nice about another person in turn (not the person who 'tagged' you.

This was a stress-buster I used to use in ESL classes I taught

I'll start:

Kruelaid,

You've got a wicked, sarcastic, ironic sense of humour and yet still manage to be respectful to those around you.

I give credit where it's due and on these forums it's obviously due all over the place (homonyms unwelcome). I don't know how to love you folks any better than I do.

Truth be told, it was you who forgot our anniversary.

I feel like I have shown up to school in an parallel universe. Everything looks the same, but it is subtly different.

For example, why is everyone so mad, and shooting fire and stars, and in general screaming at each other?

What was the bad thing that triggered all this angst?

I missed it, as usual.

signed, clueless & sleepy. :-(

Peace, people. Peace.

Can't we all just get along!

Look at me like that again boney and the nightstick comes out.

I just want to say I'm really glad the Beeler is cancer free, and that's not because I want to get the Dark Sun thread rolling smooth again, but because I just like the guy and even though I don't know him I've been pretty worried about him and his family.

He's over there in Ireland collecting a well earned rest right now, so my one can of Guinness (wasn't easy to get it over here in China) I lift in your honour, dude.

You have posted some really deep stuff, bro'. May there be many more!

ORDER! Order in the thread! Don't make me start smiting!

Your sentiments are echoed here. It is wierd how my best friends are people I've never met and probably never will. My whole family was praying hard for him. It's really a strange feeling to have emotions of worry, concern and sympathy for people you've never before met. My wife instantly sympathized with what his wife might've been going through.

Anyway, I hope he posts some picts of Ireland! I would love to see what he saw there.

I'll add a few things then.

Heathy, KC-you two bring a smile to my face on a regular basis with your antics. I'm a happier person for the humor you bring.

Dungeon Grrl-you write and DM one helluva campaign. Your players are truly blessed.

To the Paizo staff: I wish I had your patience to put up with our antics. I hope you get as many laughs as we do!

Not anymore you're not. You'll change to just Evil in a few months.

True, but he won't be defined by his alignment, so he won't be prevented from doing something non-evil just because he is evil. Instead, we will look at his actions to get an idea of how evil he is.

Which I am guessing will still be pretty evil.

I always look forward to reading Sebastian’s posts. He incites me to think and sometimes even respond.

Heathansson can be very amusing.

I empathize with Nicholas Louge’s desperate need for validation.

I sometimes enjoy murdering all the smrfs here and reanimating their mindless corpses.
Oops, is that too mushy?

Cosmo is a Slothophiliac. It's true and I have proof.

Heathy, Farewell2Kings, Daigle, Tegan and a couple of others that I'm blanking on at the moment have shown me that not all Texans are crazy... at least not in the bad way.

YeuxAndI is cute, funny, and I have to admit, I have a little crush on her.

The Jade is one of the funniest damn people on this or any other message board, and I'll kidney-punch anyone that says otherwise.

Lilith is just flat out the queen. Period, end of story.

I don't think I know everyone well enough to pinpoint down one person to say, "You're great!" However, here are things I love about the people here:

* They like Paizo, I like Paizo, we talk about Paizo and it's many products (which are full of awesomesauce)!
* There are very intelligent discussions and good creative input (including in some of the 4e threads).
* Whenever I feel like having a witty match, there are plenty of people willing to join in, which is nice. Y'all make me laugh. Generic post = Best. Thread. Evar.
* There is a sense of community here.
* A big thank you to all of Paizo's staff and contributors. I can't think of anywhere else someone can get the same kind of interaction with a company.
* I feel less guilty wasting time at work, 'cause I know others on this board are doing the same!

Thanks everybody!

Aw, shucks.

There are so many awesome people on these boards that I don't want to play favorites. You all make me laugh and are great!

Liberty's Edge

I love everybody here. Even yellowdingo. String theory jokes nonwithstanding.

Seriously, without this community, I would live a sad and lonely existence.

Props,
Shiny

Hug me and I'll kill you.

Gavgoyle wrote:

Dawwwwww! ^_^ (I still have that envelope you addressed to "Her Majesty.")

Ninja Master Mike is awesome. He made Gninjita a good ninja minion! :D

There are so many awesome people on the boards, I don't know if I could list them all (kinda like the "Pick your Ten" list that came up a while back on Paizo).

I do want to give a shout out to the chatroom regulars - Pygon, Fatespinner, Karelzarath, along with Sebastian, Takasi, Wyvern, Tensor, and Coreans Disciple (and the ever-present Daigle). It's easier to get through the workday when we're all suffering together. :P

I would like to mention a certain group of gnomes, Seebo, Nim, Donnie, Davkul, and Bronx who make me smile at times (or sometimes thinking *they're doing what?*- but in a fun sort of way.)

And thank-you Lilith for DM Tools.

Mr. Shiny,

You rock that avatar.

Paizo shouldn't allow anyone else to use it.

Sebastian is obviously highly intelligent.

Razz is very enthusiastic and obviously loves D&D.

Nic Logue produces atmospheric, throught-provoking adventures...

...but someone please get him the help he needs. ;)

Liberty's Edge

I like Lilith cos she never says a mean thing to anybody.

Like, I'm sure she has, when she was three, but damn.

I like the Jade because he's funny as hell and he writes like nobody else but dead guys who wrote well.

I like Sebastian because he's a crumudgeon, but I get him.

I like Fakey cos he's my smack-talking buddy.

I like Kruelaid cos he talks crazier than me even, unless I'm trying.

I like all sorts of people here. I'll hit some more as this thing progresses.

Liberty's Edge

Aubrey runs mad games on the pbp, and he's so smart he makes ME paranoid.

...water and air, some food, of course your gonna need shelter...let me see whatelse...umm matches, flashlight...

BOARDS GONE WONKY!

Then recent posts window has hours and days old messages in it. NEAT!

Scarab Sages

Heathy kicks ass because he has so many posts, he could stop right now and we'd never catch up. EVER!

Lilith kicks ass because she's the Demon Queen of Victuals, and made that awesome Chatroom.

Sebastian kicks ass because he's the most evil, soul-withering, heart-of-ice lawyer around.

McCartor always posts in the Smurf thread.

Heathansson wrote:

I try really hard not to. :) (I don't always succeed though...)

Hmmm...since two people said nice things about me, I gotta say two nice things about other folks.

Aberzombie, for one of the coolest living impaired posters on the board.

Mark Chin (who I don't know if he even posts anymore :( ), for giving me the idea to start DM Tools.

Edit: D'oh! Aberzombie said nice things about me! I must continue to say more nice stuffs. :D

Fake Healer, for letting me call him "Fakey" and not taunting me about Shiner Bock until I could get some for myself. :)

Fatespinner, for letting me call him "Fatey" and for the Wheel of Lunch and for blowin' up the demons together on Wednesday nights (that last part goes for Timitius and Karelzarath too).

Tarren Dei wrote:

Alas, I have been disrespectful and will again. I try not to, but it's just so hard to keep in.

Liberty's Edge

So many people here deserve nice things said about them!

I’ll start with Tarren Dei, who was cool enough not only to start this thread – which was really well timed for me, ‘cos I’ve been getting seriously bummed about all the stupidity arising from certain threads and posters … Anyway – great thread!

AND, he was also cool enough to start up a “kids and parents” play by post game, which is cool enough in itself, but he’s also basing it off a Gary Gygax adventure and setting it in Varisia. Rock!

A cascade of positive feelings! Go! Go! Go!

That's an automatic awesome "I Like You" you to Tarren Dei for starting this.

And everyone above is supercool - but in the spirit of including others who haven't posted yet, I will add Kelvar Silvermace, cuz he often seems to respond to my ideas.

Cheers

Yup, Tarren is aces in my book. I think his PbP for youngins is pretty cool, and it's great that he's taking the time to do it.

On a more general note, amidst the negativity that is pervading these boards as of late, the usual cast of characters (the Paizo Community Leaders, as it were) continues to impress, inspire, and keep me coming back day after day.

Heathansson, James Keegan, Kruelaid, Sebastian, Mothman, Fatespinner, Lilith, Daigle, the Jade, Rambling Scribe, Aberzombie, Fake Healer, etc. (and others I'm certainly forgetting at the moment), thanks for continually adding to the quality of the conversations on here.

It is appreciated.

I like Lilith because she is very helpful and supercool; like a angel of answers...

I like the Jade because he is older than me and he's legend in his own time... he's OG

I like Sebastian because he's Sebastian(He don't take no bullsh!t...

I like Fake Healer because he tells it like it is and then some.

I like Kruelaid because he is a pirate of anarchy

Aberzombie peace out!my brother-one of kind!

Heathansson is the lord of the board!...funny, witty, off the wall, cuff and top of his head...genius

Kobold Cleaver....whacky little bastard....

Props out to my pbp players ...

Liberty's Edge

Thanks Eyebite!

Shout-out to Arctaris, who often demonstrates wisdom beyond his years, and is a fun play by post player (and DM).

James Keegan – the guy is a seriously talented artist, and brings that same talent to his DMing and writing. AND he’s intelligent, articulate, and funny as hell.

It’s a good thing that he’s rumoured to be morbidly obese with a conjoined twin, a skin condition that a zombie would be proud of, and a penchant for wearing bad hats, or I’d be seriously jealous of the dude. ;-)

The Eldritch Mr. Shiny; he's smart and sarcastic with a sharp wit that regularly makes me laugh (something I should probably do more often. And he plays a great wisdom-impaired fighter.

Everyone loved the Paizo staff before but more love is due after the P-RPG decision.

Why does everything they do as a company just seem so right?

Liberty's Edge

I f@+!in' love everybody. I don't know where I'd be right now without the people on these messageboards.

You guys keep me sane.
