I think CMW has been corrupted to the darkside. By which I think he has argued so much in favour of 4e over so long and taken so much flak that he has got jaded. I get the impression his intentions are good but he's lost his sense of perspective. A bit like me in the Pathfinder threads with Trollman and Co - in the end it became more about Frank and less about Pathfinder, and in retrospect I wonder if it was ever worth the time it took to post.
I wonder about Kirth Gersen too - don't know what got into him on the Assassination thread. Very aggressive for a buddhist....

I usually don't want to talk out of turn about someone, but CWM is one of those people who I see in discussions and I wonder about the guy. I hope it isn't rude to express it.
He seems such an intelligent, engaging fellow on the one hand, but at the same time seems to carry a level of obstinancy and over-sensitivity that makes me not even want to enter a discussion with him. Aubrey's insight seems to best explain it; he seems like he's had an earnest interest in talking about 4e at one time.

We had a bunch of them around back when I lived in Nebraska. Smelly bastards, but otherwise mostly harmless. Which is why there's no skunk in the SRD, I guess.
How would it work? Con-based Stinking cloud "breath weapon" (don't forget Ability Focus!) with some unpleasant aftereffects - the sprayee takes -10 to Hide and all social skills until he boils himself and his equipment? Maybe the dire skunk is so nasty that the spray does acid damage?

This cost him all of his portion from our last divvy. BUT he still has all of his previous loot! (He never went shopping before!)
I decided that he would have gone for the useful items, (potions) and that he never had anything nice, so the dragonskin breastplate just works for him. I'm pretty sure I did the math right. Let me know if you disagree.
