Sorry about being such a slow poster lately. I'm trying to clear up an incredibly poisonous workplace conflict (essentially, as the two people in question work for me, I'm expected to show 'leadership'; however, as I don't have the authority to hire, fire or reassign, I can't really do anything), and all I really want to do once I get home is to bang my head aginst the wall until I pass out... Thankfully our workplace health guys are taking over now, so I should cheer up over the weekend.

Aw man.....
my mom told me this story about Norway the other day.....
we were visiting my dad's cousin's people there in 1973 or something....
so we were driving along, down this mountain valley road, in this really tight mountain pass, and my dad's cousin, out of the blue says, "here,.....in this place,.....I killed many Germans.
Many. Germans."
It's so surreal.

Oh, dear, now the debate of what feat to select begins.
Seems silly to take Critical Focus (+4 to confirm criticals) when a class ability gives me a +7 already, but dealing bleed damage does not sound like a bad option to have in one's bag of tricks.
Penetrating strike - ignore first 5 points of DR other than DR/- - sounds intriguing
She qualifies for Greater Weapon Specialization now (+2 to damage), but Arcane Strike would give her +4 to damage at this level and might open up other options. (Like I need more options)
Cleave and Great Cleave would not be bad choices.
Monkey Lunge would make the Lunge feat a little more palatable, but I don't think I want to spend the feat on it. (It negates the AC penalty, but I can just use Combat Expertise and make up for the penalty...)
Work to do. Thrilled to see I get a third iterative attack now - never a bad thing.

Lessee..... First of all, I get two new feats.
I think I'll take Superior Summoning (from Ultimate Magic) and Spell Penetration.
New spells: Greater planar binding and the old chestnuts Mind blank and Permanency.
Update: Altai's done. No big changes besides the new spells. I put skill ranks in the usual spots, plus Perception and Stealth.

Next item - I now know Greater planar binding, which allows me to summon an ally with up to 18 HD. So, what to summon?
