"Over there, in the tree."

Male Caliban Druid 1

Witch sees what Grim is pointing at. "Ah. Good fellow?", he says in a louder voice, "Yes, you up in the tree. Are you a friend, or my snake's breakfast?"

Looks down at the two country bumpkins "Did you say your going to feed me your snake for breakfast? Sounds good do you have any garlic?" smiles evilly "Hey Professor, why are you running around with these yokels?"

Male Caliban Druid 1

"You know the professor?", Witch asks, clutching his holly and mistletoe, "Greenfellow, Grim, perhaps we should be prepared to fight. It appears that the professor is pitting a tree squirrel against us."

Grim notches an arrow.

"Well, squirrel, what's your story? We're all ears."

Male Human Ranger (Skirmisher) 6; AC 21; touch 13; ff 18. HP: 59/59. Fort +6; Ref +8; Will +6

“What is it that I am missing here?” asks Nathaniel, standing slowly, bow in hand but with no arrow nocked. “If this man is a friend of your friend, then why do you challenge him? If you would exchange arrows over an insult, then perhaps I am in the wrong company … or if you think he means us harm, I do not understand; it would be he and his librarian friend against three trained warriors.”

He looks up a the man in the tree. “Although I admit, I am curious as to what he is doing in a tree.”

"What are you missing? We haven't had time to make friends with the professor, yet, Ranger, any more than you with us. We are accustomed to being hunted and survive accordingly."

"Well squirrel, friend or foe?"

Judging from the sorts of characters we have here, I doubt it could be much of a problem.

re blood and gore are we talking blood spraying Rambo gore, chest busting Alien gore, or torture porn Saw gore?

I’m good with it all, just wondering what level we’re talking.

"hehe Success story!" Marius says sacrastically and then slides down the tree trunk. Comes to stand infront of Witch. grinning evilly all the while "Friend, I'll have you know I was admiring your behind not you purse...." giggles "though your purse could definantely be lightened"

"Good enough, then squirrel. Back to the fire before the real bogeymen raven us."

Male Human Beguiler 1

"So, almost all of us are here, now. And our unexpected visitor Mr. Greenfellow as well. ... Who are we still waiting for?" says Dayenn a little more cheerful now that Marius is here.

"Someone with charm."

"Not a complete success mind you ... but we take our successes as and where they come, don't we?" mutters Dayenn with slight bemusement entertained now that the conflict isn't centered around him.

Nathaniel sits back down, keeping a wary eye on his new companions, especially this new one. His hope of a night of solid rest begins to fade. It looks like it will be a wakeful night, beware of treachery, and then off on his own way again in the morning.

"So, Dayenn, Marius, and Nathaniel. What finds all of you in the woods? My compatriot and I have...<he seems to be choosing a word>... relocated... due to unpleasantness... and we have little stomach for the cities."

"Here to ummmm..." thinks up a good excuse "scope out lands to build my new ancestral castle." Looks around "Hmm...that glade over there looks nice." he says sarcastically while pointing to the north...."other than that a little of this a little of that...you know raise a cult dedicated to my greatness, line my pockets with gold you know the usual" tries to look as serious as possible when he says all this. all the while twirlling his dagger on his the tip of his middle finger.

"Well, Marius, Witchbrand and I are the local vigilantes, so you'd best be cautious how you make your gold around here."

Almost ready. Been feeling a bit under the weather the last couple of days so I've been laying low.

I should have the finished character ready later today (CET).

Witch sighs. "Alright, Grim clearly is tired of this. Enough. D'Armon and Greenfellow can tag along if they like, it makes little difference to me as long as they don't cause trouble."

It takes a minute for Dayenn to notice what is happening but once he does he leaps to his feet: "Fascinating. ... Breathing is regular," he says pulling out a pocket mirror and slips it beneath Grim's nose "Nay! Mechanical even ... but deeper than most people ... full breaths. Body relaxed. ..."

He considers pulling Grim's eyelids back to better inspect his eyes but decides to leave that for when they know each other better. He thinks about poking Grim but decides that might not be safe. He has a better idea. Stepping back he says "Pssst. Marius, come over here for a second."

Male Human Cleric 1

Standing across from the still dark 2nd story windows of the house, Armand watched the bustle of the city grow thinner as evening put its murky grip on the street. The address had been right, but the lovely woman who had answered the door had informed him that Monseiur Naight had been gone since early morning.
Was it foolish of him to have come?
No, this was something he had to explore. Through their brief letter correspondance it had seemed clear that M. Naight did indeed seem to know something of the inner workings of the mind, so the people who had referred to him seemed to be upright.
But how much did he know and would it help in the quest to find the demons who had possessed his dear Marie?
He had said that he wanted to try some... hypnosis techniques on Armand to find out more about what had happened, but he failed to see how that would help Marie. But anything was worth a shot now.
The fog from the harbour had started seeping through the streets and a slight damp chill seemed to permeate the air. Drawing his cloak closer around him and pulling his tricorne further down, Armand put the rest of the meat pie he had bought from the street vendor in his mouth and decided to try again tomorrow.

Okay, I've put my character sheet up, although I'm still fiddling with the layout.
So, Grimwald has changed to Armand.
Still need to put a full background up too.
Also, what are the changes to the Mist domain in the 3.5 rulebook?

Looks like Dayenn should get us back to his place.
