There is going to be continued support for 3.5. The following companies have announced that they will be continuing to support 3.5 for the rest of the year:
Dreamscarred Press,
Louis Porter Jr. Design
Highmoon Media
Dias Ex Machina
Creative Mountain Games
Creative Conclave (The Lazy GM people)
GMC
Bards and Sages
The Le Games
Any others that anyone has a definite confirmation on?
Dale McCoy Jr Jon Brazer Enterprises
Short of the long on the list. These are the major PDF/POD publishers. Morrus from ENWorld summorized the list as all those that don't make enough in RPG sales to recoup 5K in profits from six months of 4E sales.
Some do excellent work.
Disclaimer, My first writing credit was with Bards and Sages.
EDIT: Dreamscarred makes Psionic products exclusively. Some call their work better then WotC's Psionics. (no first hand experience myself)
Creative Conclave make the Lazy GM's guide. I like these. They make other stuff, I don't know what exactly.

As I can see the big ones are switching, these publishers above mentioned are not unknown for me, however despite the fact they will continue publishing maybe they are not the most popular publishers and although they work is good they will continue supporting 3.5 only until the end of the year. So 3.5 Grognards comunity will start to support each other sharing their campaigns or adventures, won't they?
Big publishers don't care if 3.5 is better or if 4.0 is worse or if 3.5 is a system that deserves to continue on the market, they care only to make money, that is their business, they go where the money is and if they think the money is on 4th edition they won't hesitate to put on the garbage 3.5 core books and get the knew ones.
Big publishers cares only for keeping a slot in the industry and making money, and...who can blame them for doing like that?

Big publishers don't care if 3.5 is better ... they care only to make money
I'd have to disagree. While they care about making money, I disagree that they ONLY care about it. Many of them got into the gig because they love D&D and because they believe they can do a better job then others. Paizo said that they will switch if they can tell the kinds of stories they want to tell and sell the kinds of products they want to sell. Sounds to me like they care more about telling the stories they want to tell more then they care about money.
Clark of Necro has been rather excited about doing a Tome of Horrors for 4E. The way he's excited about it, it sounds like he cares more about the thrill of making the ToH then he does about money.

Agreed.
More than any other company, Necromancer Games has always stood out to me as doing things for love of the game.

Clark is also a full time Lawyer and has said in the past that he runs Necro as a hobby. He has employees that don't do it as a hobby (translation: as their full time job), but he himself can do projects that don't make money because he has another job to fall back on.

Undoubitably, they do what they like if not imagine what kind of products we would have, however my complaint is that they left the 3.5 banner as soon as the 4.0 appeared totally deaf to public (according to at least Paizo's poll) claiming 3.5 to continue as a supported system perhaps not eternally but at least till the time they realize that it definitely IS NOT a good business.
As I said: "they think the money is on 4th edition" they are leaving because they think the money is in 4th edition not because they have demonstrated that the money is not in 3.5.

Paizo has said MANY TIMES that they have not yet made a decision on 4E. All they have done is exactly what they said they would do, investigate to see if they can tell the kinds of stories they want with 4E. If they can't, they said they won't switch. Give them the benefit of the doubt that they will do what they feel will be in the best interests of their business and their fans.

Yes and I really, really wish Paizo doesn't switch. Many big ones have switched, what a misfortune for 3.5 lovers would it be if Paizo does too.
Dale McCoy Jr Jon Brazer Enterprises
Many big ones have switched,
The only one that has announced plans of going 4E and not looking back is Goodman. Necro has said they'd look at the OGL first before committing. Paizo too. Necro has also said that if Paizo doesn't go, Necro might not stay 4E. But unless the OGL doesn't allow a ToH, Necro is definitely going to do that. GR and Mongoose are investigating, but from the way they're talking, I doubt they will.

Highmoon Media
thats a veritable "Who's that?" list.
Well, let me introduce myself:
I'm Daniel M. Perez and I own Highmoon Media Productions. We publish d20 materials in a couple of different lines, described here very quickly:
- Bardic Lore - Celtic-themed products for d20 Fantasy.
- Domains of Adventure - Systemless locations with accompanying Rules Addendum for various systems.
- Liber Sodalitas - Fully-developed organizations for d20 Fantasy, including story and rules.
- Targum Magazine - Quarterly periodical supporting Green Ronin historical Mythic Vistas and all campaigns set in the Ancient World in general. We have also published an adventure for Testament.
- MonkeyGod Presents - We are the exclusive digital distributor for all the MonkeyGod products, including the excellent From Stone to Steel.
We also have some other lines that have seen one or two releases (DaVinci Labs for d20 Modern, or Codex Paragons for d20 Fantasy).
You can see our current catalog HERE.
In 2008 we'll continue 3.5 support in some of our lines, as well as expanding into other open systems as well as some original stuff.
Hope that makes us a little less unknown. :)

Thanks for the reminder about this e-zine. I saw an ad for it in KQ and thought about getting a copy. Then forgot.
Does it support their less than historical stuff like Hamunaptra or more recent stuff like Skull and Bones?

Yeah. I've only heard of two of these, and I've never got products from any of them. This news really isn't exactly reassuring. All of the major print publishers have already said that they will convert, so we're kind of out of luck for any new 3.5 print products for 08.

Not quite !
They said, at the notable exception of Goodman games, that they were going to study the contract, the OGL & the new rules...and think about what to do !

I have bought quite a few products from RPGnow (all of them in pdf format, obviously), mostly by Highmoon Media, Creative Mountain and Louis Porter Jr Design, including some great adventures and interesting crunch books, such as the awesome From Stone to Steel.

*pokes head in the room and waves*
Sorry haven't been around. Nice to see a bit of kobold love in the room, anyway. Though the fact that we are mostly remembered for kobolds is both endearing and...well...unnerving.

Don't see my company listed above--Tricky Owlbear Publishing, Inc. (which you also may or may not have heard of)--and we're continuing with 3.5 for 2008 certainly.
Most notably, we publish the Behind the Spells (available here for the time being through Ronin Arts) and Behind the Monsters. The BtS series is getting a print version in the next few months with errata and extras mixed in (look for our ad in Kobold Quarterly #3!).

Hello I am Louis Porter Jr., Owner of Louis Porter Jr. Design and Devil's Workshop. We have over 300 PDF based products for fans of 3.5 D20 and OGL in various genres from fantasy to crime to sci-fi avilable here at Paizo or at RPGnow. Feel free to take a look at the products we have created so you might possible see some thing you might like.
Our newest fantasy setting for D20, NeoExodus: A House Divided has done very well at RPGnow so we are planning to bring suppliment to Paizo in the near future. Many regular Paizo writers have done work for the NeoExodus: A House Divided setting including Tim Hitchcock and his upcoming adventure, Three SIdes of the Truth.

Our newest fantasy setting for D20, NeoExodus: A House Divided...
Yes, more Neo-Exodus, please. I hope you continue to develop this setting for a long time to come. I'm not normally a fan of anything even remotely resembling anime, but I'm seeing some good stuff here. Very inventive. Keep it up, and I'll keep buying it.

Well this year is going to be a HUGE NeoExodus year. We have 12 products planned (All at least 32 pages in length) including:
Lexicon Chronicle: Arcane Intelligence: Best way to describe this, Golem are Arcance Intelligences but so are Genies. Imagine a fantasy setting where the setting had "supercomputer" which in reality is a group of over 300 powerful magic casters linked together in one single consciousness mind. Releasing Late January
Enemies of NeoExodus: Folding Circle: The most dangerous group of villain on the face of Exodus. (Inspired by the Legion of Super Heroes’ Fatal Five). Releasing Late February
Lexicon Chronicle: Lazarus Brands: Think of the Lazarus Brands as mark that grants the PC a range of amazing powers chosen by their personalities, race, desires, and fates. When a bearer of the Lazarus Brand dies, the Lazarus Brand can pass on to someone else or be taken by another person with a Lazarus Brand. (Inspired by the Highlander movies and the Crossgen Comic books). Releasing Late March
And much, much more…

Edit: Is the starter kit more comprehensive than the campaign setting? Or you need both?

Louis Porter has some really cool projects coming out. 3.5 enthusiasts, prepare yourselves.
I've read a couple of great Highmoon products.
Dreamscarred is a company I don't know as well. I forget the legend of the "great author" pedigree, but I recall they have one. May have been WotC writers who opened their own thing. Someone help me here... who are those guys?
Bards and Sages I've heard of. After that big PDF giveaway RPGnow sends promo for that company's stuff to my inbox about once a week and it all looks fun.
I don't recognize the other companies on that list.

Dreamscarred Press: Heard of them heard good reviews, but never read their stuff.
Louis Porter Jr. Design: Heard of them, seen some good stuff. These are also the guys who offered contracts to the 31 runners-up in RPGSuperstar.
Highmoon Media: Hadn't heard of them before
Dias Ex Machina: Hadn't heard of them before
Creative Mountain Games: Heard of them, Read good reviews.
Creative Conclave: (The Lazy GM people): I picked up the free "Lazy GM" product during the Thanksgiving giveaway at RPGNow, and liked it enought to buy the entire line. I love these. I thought about designing this same product 5 years ago, but I'm too damn lazy.
GMC
Bards and Sages
The Le Games
I've heard all three of these names, but don't know anything about them.
Dale McCoy Jr Jon Brazer Enterprises
As far as Bards and Sages RPG material goes, they have a few product lines. Some of them have free web enhancements or previews on drivethrurpg/rpgnow.
Nemesis: Quick, easy to incorporate NPC villians.
Preview of Nemesis I: Vampires
Web Enhancement of Nemesis IV: Nature's Avengers
Mythos: Gods (I am not familiar enough with this series to do it justice).
Adventure Havens: Detailed locations for when PCs go astray.
Web Enhancement
Neiyar: Setting. The Description here can do a better job of describing it then I can.
And then there are Kobolds

Actually, getting back to the original post, I've heard of all these companies, and they all have some great products. Of course, they've all got a dog or two in the mix, too.
For the most part, though, there's some really good stuff out there. The only problem I have with them is that being the (part) owner of 4 LGSs I can't sell any of their PDFs in the store!
's too bad, too, 'cuz some of them are pretty stinkin' good...

Well Mr. Bubbagump, that is not completely true. RPGNow does have a affiliate program where retailers (Brick & Mortar) can get an online RPGNow Affiliate store where they can sell PDF products from. Just like a typical affiliate store you get a perecentage of the total sale amount. For Example: Little Wars has a PDF store up and running. I think all you have to do is contact Steve Wieck at stevew (at) onebookshelf (dot) com and I sure he could get you started and up and running. Hope this helps!
