I was no longer able to edit the initial post when I had seen TOP's announcement to stay 3.5. I did, however, post you later.

Saw that after I made my post...d'oh! In any case, for more info on us, you can go to www.trickyowlbear.com or peruse our products at the following locales...

RPGNow/Drivethru: http://www.rpgnow.com/index.php?cPath=3935

and a few also available from YGN: http://www.yourgamesnow.com/index.php?main_page=index&manufacturers_id= 64&zenid=78afee5be12ce5d3c5b5a92cb8c987fe

Most notably, we publish the Behind the Spells (available here for the time being through Ronin Arts) and Behind the Monsters. The BtS series is getting a print version in the next few months with errata and extras mixed in (look for our ad in Kobold Quarterly #3!).

Generally five cents per word... which, in this industry, is pretty darn good.

That was going to be my guess. Thanks James!

And the new company has now officially launched. Head on over to www.trickyowlbear.com and grab the free pdf Behind the Monsters: Owlbear!

Tricky Owlbear - that's great! I look forward to Behind the Monsters.

Ah, someone likes the company name--huzzah! Thanks for the support and I look forward to maybe seeing some reviews here on Paizo.

Heh, no trick question, DF. I'm looking for feedback as I'm planning on relaunching the series under my own company name--Tricky Owlbear (coming soon). As with anything, feedback is useful for improving the quality of products. We're also gearing up a "Behind the Monsters" line, among other things. So, you liked some more than others...care to elaborate? :)

I see this series has finally hit the virtual shelves of paizo. I'm interested in hearing any thoughts on these pdfs once folks start reading them. Magic Missile was the first issue which is why I started this thread with that one. The series needn't be read in any particular order though. If you've ever been interested in the creators behind your favorite PHB spells and in new ways to use these old workhorse spells, then "Behind the Spells" is for you!

Greetings. I thought I'd bring this series to the attention of the Paizo fans here. This is a unique new series from Ronin Arts which examines those spells from the SRD that are listed time and again on character sheets throughout gaming.

These are the spells which, if on your PC’s class list, will be taken as soon as possible and include such quintessential favorites as magic missile and fireball. Each pdf in this series examines the spellcaster who created the spell, one or more of the spell’s hidden capabilities, and possible variants for the spell.

If you haven't already, you can check out the series here: http://www.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?products_id=5862

And if you have looked at these already, what do you think?
