The site for Gen Con's best event is back up and running. Go there, and make an account, and hang out on the forums while you're waiting for replies (or the Superstar monsters) here! A taste of this kind of gaming, sponsored generously by Paizo, is all you need to want to be involved. You'll love that you were there and talked to great players, GMs, and household names like Nic Logue.

I suppose someday I should make the pilgrimage. My ex-wife told me I should go but I never did. Actually, I've never been to ANY con, much less Gen. Maybe one of these years. Not likely this year, but we'll see. If I end up getting a job in the midwest those chances would rise dramatically!

Funny Nick I thought beat up Nicolas Logue was the best hours spent at GenCon lol. IronDM is probably one of the greatest gaming events ran at GenCon. For those of you out there who have yet to attend as either a DM or a Player I highly recommend you stop on by. For information please visit www.irondm.com or contact myself, Nicolas Logue or the great Lou, and we'll be glad to help.
Look forward to seeing Paizo at IronDM again this coming year.

Badge pre-registration begins Monday, February 3, 2008 (12:00PM PST) at www.gencon.com
Earmark this date and be ready to enjoy the best gencon ever! And make sure you are arranging your registration, hotel and events as early as possible. You don't want to get left without a room or events to play.
I will say that if the IronDM schedule doesn't work out for you (what the HELL would you be playing that ISN'T IronDM?), just watching the opening ceremonies or the player olympics is as much fun as playing most other games. Just don't bring any small children or little old ladies. It's more in the linguistic stylings of grizzled war and mob veterans, drunk unhappy rednecks, or people from the town of Deadwood.
