It's a super depressing book and it's actually a horrific scene, but here it's kind of light-hearted (in that "I keep elves alive in my basement to butcher them" sort of way).

Just too tender of a subject right now. I am watching my gaming group where half the people are anxious to buy and play 4.0 and half are swearing never to touch it, and I fear I will be looking at a group shattered because of the edition change. I just would like the PBPs to remain aloof of the venom that is all over the boards. This is like my "escape" from all that.

I may have a memory of it. It's possible. When I played that it was also about the time I got introduced to smoking weed, AND it may have been the last D&D module I played until recently, so that would be a slim possibility.

Ok, I'll use a little craps mod:
First natural (7/11) wins the sword OR if two guys roll naturals they go on.
Craps (2,3,12) is an immediate loss.
Points (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10) will just give you a pass until the next roll.
I will roll them in a minute.
Saltmarsh, never played it. I'm good. But I DID DM the original 'Keep on the Borderlands' 3 or 4 times. And I bought the 2.0 update, which ran the same area but 20-30 years later. Never got to run or play it, but it READ like a lot of fun!
