Hello. Chris here. My father just had a massive heart attack, and I've travelled to St. Louis to be with him and the rest of the family. In the next 48 hours, he may regain consciousness, or he may be dead. And, quite franky, those are two of the better options.
I won't be posting much for a while. Sorry.
Chris, I've been there with my father. There are no words.

Hello. Thanks so much for the kind wishes.
Dad's still in a coma. (The EEG says he's got more brain activity than he did last Sunday, but his heart is still very weak and his kidneys are having problems, too.) Until that resolves, one way or the other, I'll be spending as much time as possible with my family in St. Louis, away from dependable internet service. My time on these boards will be spotty.
(And, honestly, I don't feel much like playing PbP games right now.)
I'm really sorry, particularly with the story as it is right now. Logos, please run Lucienne until I can commit to regular posting again.

Sorry so absent, worked 30 hours this weekend, and have sick kids too boot. (And I think they shared with me. Oh. Joy.)

I'm afraid I'm going to have to drop out of the game. Its been fun and this is a good group but I've been busy with school lately and I just handed in resumes at some places so I'll have a job soon and won't have enough time to play. Sorry and good luck with the game all.

I'm still here. Though I don't know if two mages (alone) can fulfill your original conception of your world!
(Though it certainly fulfills some of the ideas I used to have of a great game!)
If you can keep the game running, I'll stick with you. While the direction you've taken it is odd at times, and I confess I have been more than a little lost at times, I still love your original concept, and you have definitely kept my attention.

either way we've 15 pages IC, which althought not a record, is more than a little achievement, especially considering the consistantly high quality that everyone has contributed.

I had fun with your game. It was different from what I'm used to playing in and it often went in unexpected directions but I did have fun, RL stuff is just getting in the way. Just felt I needed to clear that up.

I don't think Stratos killed the game, It was strange but cool, and once we got the 'history', I thought it was pretty good, and blended in with some of the novels I have read set in Eberron. I DO admit to being lost until we got the explanation though. But that was probably mostly me. (I'm unfortunately not nearly as smart as the characters I usually play.)
Thanks for the invite, but I think I have spread myself out a little too thin on the PbP's,... I'm gonna try and 'cut back my habit' and give some others a chance. :)

Hi, people, and sorry I have been away for so long without any notice.
Condolences to Chris, and anyone else having RL stuff bringing them down. I stopped coming to the boards after some family losses of my own, as well as getting downsized at work, and couldn't justify doing much of anything for pleasure, so I'm sorry for bailing.
I'm not sure who will see this, since the threads for this game have been dormant for some time, (I've gotten some enjoyment from reading everything I missed, though) - but I'd like to thank Logos and everyone for the fun of starting it, though.
Anyhow, the sun is bright, birds are singing, it's a new day. Things are looking up. Hopefully I'll see people around again now!
